“Excellent cottage, great location, highly recommend” We have stayed at Mill Farm twice, now, previously in Roosters cottage and this time in Mill Stone. Both cottages fantastically equipped and very comfortable. Done to a high standard and extremely clean. The rooms are spacious and well thought out with the added bonus of a freeview TV. Each cottage has its own fenced garden (dog friendly, so this is a bonus) and there is a larger grassed area for kids to play in or have a kickabout. Owners very welcoming and the huge delicious cake waiting for you on arrival is very welcome. Nothing is too much trouble and they are geniunely lovely people. The hot tub is great and sitting under the stars in the warm bubbly water is lovely. Location is brilliant, and recommend a trip to Hutoft beach where you can park on the concourse at the beach, or anderby Creek is good too, lots of parking and easy to access. If you like Indian food then a must is Saffron on Roman Bank, this is best curry I have ever had and will definitely return on my next visit to the cottages. The Victoria Inn in Hogsthorpe village is very friendly and as most pubs in the area is dog friendly. Louth market on Wednesday is worth a trip. We go here to relax and recharge our batteries and its the perfect place to do so. We will definitely be back.
