“A great place to stay for enjoying walking and scenery” Great owners - very helpful in advising places to go. The accommodation was ideal for two people and was in easy walking distance to the town of Buxton which had lovely gardens and a great choice of eating places. Plenty of good walks in the area.

“Great Stay at Smithy's Cottage Buxton” The cottage was great and fully met our expectations. It is a lovely old building, but with lots of finishing touches to make it comfortable and homely. The fireplace kept us warm after a day out in the cold. . The location is good - close to pubs, restaurants and shops in the town centre and Buxton makes an ideal base for exploring the Peak District. During our stay we cycled the Tissington Trail which was a short drive away.
