“Wonderful cabin on Lake Winnebago” This house is as advertised and more. My family arrived for a week of relaxation and we were not disappointed. The house was super clean with all we would need for the week. The sun room was a great addition with beautiful views of the lake, the deck was huge with a swing for two ( spent many mornings sitting and listening to the birds sing) and the grill was a great asset. The yard was huge with enough room for all your outdoor games. The family spent much time in the lake(was sooo hot) which is a great swimming lake with the sand bar just feet from the dock. At night the fire pit was a great thing to have as the kids loved sitting by the fire making smores and reflecting on the wonderful day we had. I would DEFINATLEY stay here again! Oh almost forgot Kristie is absolutley the best host. She called to make sure we arrived and had everything we needed. Thanks again Paul and Kristie!! P.S. thanks for the welcoming gift it will always remind us of our vacation.

“Roomy, bright and cozy cabin in a beautiful setting - perfect ge” We had a really fun and relaxing few days at this cabin - it's minutes away from cute shops and great restaurants. Inside it has cozy furnishings, a washer/dryer and everything you could need in the kitchen. We kept a big fire going most of the time - especially when watching movies on the big screen tv! Outside, there's a big back deck, perfect for outdoor activities and barbeques. The yard right behind the deck is a great sledding hill and an there's a small alpine slide close by, not to mention the Bear Mountain slopes! Would recommend it for families, or for a quiet relaxing getaway.

“Immaculate and gorgeous "home away from home" cottage in Lake Pl” We had an amazing stay! Go-cottage, 2 bedroom was great and I felt like I was at home. The owner has a keen eye and excellent taste for design. Perfect location for Lake Placid horse show and other activities that we did such as hiking and biking. I would definitely stay here again and I recommend it to all of my friends.

“This is a gorgeous and spacious lake home with plenty of amentities for adults and child. 5 Stars!!!!” This property is on a gorgeous location on top of a small hill. The view of the lake from the house is breathtaking. Our group enjoyed our stay thoroughly and we took full advantage of the amenities in the property like out door fire pit, hammock, boats/kayak allowed by the home-owner to be used by us. The house has enough space--we were a group of 9 people and the space was ample however there is only one shower so that might be a limitation. the kitchen was very spacious and had all the stuff needed for cooking. It would have been nice if there was a functional grill for using outdoors--the one that was there was kind of old and did not work very well. There was some strange odor in the dishwasher but that might be because of its limited usage. Overall, this place is highly recommended for vacation stay. The owners were really nice and friendly and the view and location is absolutely spectacular! My Response Thank you for your kind words. I do want to say that we have replaced the outdoor grill. I'm sorry you had trouble with it. I checked the dishwater also but could not smell or see anything in the trap. We disconnected the plumbing to examine and clean. Whatever the odor was, it's gone. “Absolutely fabulous!” Very clean & neat, everything you would need as far as kitchen, etc.- gas grill, pots/pans, cooking utensils, baggies/foil/wrap. Beds were very comfy & living area very comfortable & welcoming. Outdoor patio area has nice lounge furniture & great view. We loved it!! Beach front property with superb service and great location!

“Not RIGHT on the lake as photos suggest but cozy and spacious cabin with hot tub and close proximity to Big Bear village” This cabin was very comfortable and cozy and really embodied the "cabin feel." The living room was very spacious and had a large TV that provided access to Netflix and other programs (a big plus). The kitchen was very well stocked with a wide array of kitchenware and grilling tools, which really came in handy for the grill right outside. We especially enjoyed the hot tub (spent many hours here), as we stayed in Big Bear in March and it was quite chilly out. The only problem we had with the house was the fact that the pictures were deceptive in making it appear that the cabin was right on the lake, which was not the case. There was a whole house right in front of us and blocked much of our view of the lake, as well as a long fence that made it impossible for us to even access the lake from our area (we had to walk a few hundred feet down the street to the marina to get to the water). Otherwise, the house was incredibly cozy and accommodating and made for a relaxing three-night stay up in the mountains for our Spring Break.

“Peaceful” The unit we stayed in was very clean. Our unit favorite was the balcony swing. It was nice to sit on in the evenings, in the shade, and listen to the ocean sounds. We enjoyed walks in the evening at Fort Fisher. My personal highlight of the stay was seeing dolphins the first early morning of our stay. The restaurants are nearby and so is a grocery store called Food Lion. We enjoyed visiting nearby towns of Wilmington and Southpoint. You can find even more good eats and quaint local shopping there. I would have given 5 stars but we were disappointed that we couldn't see the entire beach from the balcony due to the setback of the building behind two other buildings. The ocean is directly in front of the unit but the view is obscured due to the two buildings on either side. Also, the workout center was closed due to construction the entire stay. The unit could also use an updated microwave. The owners are very easy to work with and good at communication.

“Awesome getaway!” Hearts Delight and the hosts, Mac and Dar are just that...a delight! The cabin is clean and comfortable with all the amenities of home but in a very relaxed country setting. The grounds are just beautiful and well maintained with a fire pit, swimming and fishing ponds, walking trails through the woods and a shared hot tub. You could not ask for a nicer getaway that is not that far from many of Ohio's highlights.

“Wonderful, Relaxing, Well Worth it!” We loved this home it was larger than expected. The pool area was outstanding, we had warm sunshine all day and pool was very warm. We also saw alligators & birds almost everyday! Close to all amenities, we walked neighborhood daily and it was very safe, neighbors would wave hello. “Just like home!” Great location. We came out for a wedding over the weekend and had a great time here. It was clean, comfortable, and quiet, with plenty of space for 6. Great location and easy access to the farmers market on ski run, close to the hotel & casino's, as well as our favorite burger spot (lucky beaver). We had a chance to meet Steve and he was very welcoming to his home. We thank Angel & Steve for opening their beautiful home to us and hope to stay here again in the future!

“A beautiful retreat” We literally just got back to the east coast, but couldn't resist leaving an excellent review for Lolly's rental in Ben lomond. We had everything we could possibly need to have family and friends come visit and the beautiful meadow was such fun to explore with the kids. I enjoyed cooking with her herb garden and it made us feel like this was a second home. We will certainly use this as our retreat when we come visit friends and family in the near future again.
