“Perfect” This lovely home, location and the staff met and exceeded our expectations. Everything every one has said in prior reviews hold true. All the recommendations at the home in the binder were great, the food prepared by the care staff was better than anything out there. The location and beach is spectacular for people of all ages. We hope to return!

“great location” the Office staff was courteous and welcomed me upon arrival, and showed me around. The room was clean and had a coffee maker and small refrigerator in addition to tv. Within a few steps of my door I was at the fresh water pool, a few more steps and I was on the most beautiful beach in the area! The hotel staff were attentive and friendly. The onsite restaurant was a great plus, allowing me to spend as much time on the beach or diving as I wanted, and not driving around finding restaurants. The food was fantastic! All in all, this was a great place to spend a week on the ocean, relaxing.

“Honeymoon in Dreamsicle” My husband and I stayed at Maya Beach Hotel in the Lower Dreamsicle House for our Honeymoon in May. Our experience with Maya Beach Hotel and the staff was outstanding. Our "house" was clean, and private, with beautiful views of the ocean and just steps away from the restaurant. It was so nice to sit on the lower porch and enjoy our coffee and breakfast each morning, and enjoy a cool beverage while sitting on the beach with our feet keeping us cool in the ocean waves. When we wanted to explore the area or take adventures, Ellen and her staff were so helpful and knowledgeable. Martin was always willing to give us our options for activities and help us coordinate our adventures. Without their help and recommendations, we wouldn't have been able to experience the local favorite hot spots or organize our adventures with ease. It was so nice that they coordinated someone to pick us up and drop us off at the airport for our arrival and departure. You can tell they really enjoy what they do, and their passion is unmatched. When we come back to Belize we will definitely stay at Maya Beach Hotel and we recommend it to anyone looking for a beach front relaxing vacation!

“Just what we're looking for...” My Boyfriend and I were looking for a small intimate place to stay for my Birthday. And we found it at The Villas DeRosa! We stayed in a 1bd beach front condo over looking the amazing ocean below. The service was amazing! The staff is friendly and helpful and the food was fantastic! We love akumal and wouldn't stay anywhere else. Don't let the dirt road off the highway that leads to the resort fool you..it truly is a diamond in the rough. We're looking forward to our next visit.

“Great beach experience with all the conveniences.” Great location in akumal on the beach. Accommodations were spacious and prices excellent. They have a cook who will deliver meals to your own dinning room at very reasonable costs and the food is very good. The accommodations are not plush but very clean and all of the people who work there are muy simpatico.

“Year # 6” I recently returned from the Riviera Maya and my 6th year stay at Villas DeRosa Resort. In my reasonably priced dive package they included: airport transfers, a comfortable and clean ocean front condo, and an abundance of good food, transportation to the dive sites and some great dive guides. The common areas, pool and beach are safe and clean. The staff is friendly, flexible and willing to help. Planning year #7. dhw

“Amazing Villal & Vacation!!” Rarely do I ever take the time to write reviews of my hotels, villas or destinations but the team behind Villa alma Rosa is incredible and deserve a shout out! I'm an avid visitor to the Riviera Maya, Akumal & Tulum and was looking for a villa to help ring in my birthday with some friends. The communication between Marina at Riviera Maya Haciendas was incredible - quick response, courteous and happy to accommodate every need and request. Everything was organized for me according to my needs prior to arrival i.e. grocery shopping, food menus, villa prestocking, flowers, maps etc. If you're looking for a villa rental with a true "concierge" type of service then alma Rosa is right up your alley. When we arrived the house, I was really impressed at the care that goes into alma Rosa. The furnishings, details, color and character are all tastefully so done and warm that it really adds to the experience. The outdoor area/pool/beach are beautiful and well maintained, this is where we really spent most of our days/nights. The bedrooms/bathrooms are very beautiful with amazing beds/linens and furnishings. I've rented quite a few villas in the Riviera Maya and a lot of them feel cheap and have poor construction etc. Villa alma Rosa is a real home! I briefly met the owner when I first arrived who was lovely but wanted to get out of our hair so we enjoyed our time. The chef Carlos and his wife/housekeeper Jafet are the 2 sweetest people on the planet and to be honest are part of the sole reason that I would rent alma Rosa again. The food, attention and love along with hard work that they gave us every day was simply amazing and I was so grateful to have them there with us. They felt like family when we left! Overall I will absolutely be returning to alma Rosa soon but at the same time don't want to spread the word - I think this is the best kept secret & villa in the area! “Amazing Place” I have stayed at Wataview on two different occasions- one week in February and one week in april. Incredible place. The staff and chef are above superior. Chef Sylvia has worked all over the world and her dishes are far superior to anywhere I've eaten with five star chefs. She is delightful and accommodating to any requests. The house has everything you could want for entertaining and enjoyment...beautifully decorated, great rooms, beds, supplies, support. I would highly recommend Wataview...it is beyond amazing- you'll love it.

“You don't have to die to get to heaven” Before my stay at Casa del Perro Feliz, I had never been to the Yucatan peninsula and I found the listing for the house on the internet. As you know, there can be a big difference between the experience promised in the listing and your actual stay. Everything about my 10 days at this fabulous house far exceeded my expectations. The house is spacious and sweet. Maria and Ulises, the caretakers, are dedicated and gracious. The bay is a Caribbean dream. We were there for the Christmas and new year holidays and we almost never even saw our neighbors--which meant we had the whole bay to ourselves. The nearby town of Tulum was exciting and the food was great. There are many things to see in the peninsula but, for us, the most magnificent were the cenotes. Swim in as many of them as you can. There is one 5 minutes walk from the house, but our favorite was the Grand Cenote, a few minutes drive. This was a memorable and rewarding trip for me, my wife and our 3 children. I'm saving up so we can go back.

“Paradise in the Mayan Riviera” What a magnificent place! I've rented homes online before and what I saw was not always what I got. This exceeded my expectations in beauty, location, services and comfort. Udi's home is designed to perfection. The staff couldn't be better. Martin is an amazing chef. We will definitely return. It was particularly nice to go in July when we could watch the sea turtles lay their eggs on the beach, but this would be one of my top picks anytime of the year. The bedrooms are all gorgeous and the view from the living room is spectacular. Thank you for giving us the perfect family vacation. It was exactly what we hoped for!

“Amazing tropical escape” We stayed in this amazing home for a week with a total of 12 family members from all over the country. The house was very roomy with plenty of space for everyone. The house backs to the lagoon with tons of birds and dolphins swimming by. A short walk across the street takes you to the ocean for a nice cool down on a hot day. It was a little bit of a drive to Placencia, but worth it. I would advise you to plan ahead for meals. If you want to eat out and avoid cooking, check to see what is really open close by. The belizian time is not understated! And we didn't realize what housekeeping meant. We were spoiled. Didn't have to wash a dish the entire week. That is what I call vacation! And the pool...oh the pool. This made this home exceed our expectations. A gorgeous ocean front pool with sand vollyball, kayaks, and a gorgeous refreshing pool surrounded by palms and with a swim up bar. We ended up ending most days here. The staff was great and we were usually the only ones there. Definately recommend this place. The only thing I would mention that could use improvements is sound control. It is a large all tile open floorplan and sleeping in if there are little ones along may not happen! Overall, great place.

“Loved It, Didn't Want to Leave It!” Laguna Vista is removed from the main street and an easy 15 minute walk or quick bike ride to town. We added a couple taxi rides as needed which were cheap and easy. Absolutely no problems getting around! Tony and Jo are wonderful hosts who go above and beyond and filled in so many gaps for us. They live upstairs and are easily accessible, helpful and all around terrific people! I can't say how much we appreciated them and knowing there was someone on the island we could trust should we hit a snafoo! Also loved the extra's such as having a local cell phone, bikes to ride, flowers in conch shells. The grounds of Laguna Vista are immaculate; the pool total relief, soothing fountain sounds great at night and an amazing palapa to dine under! Only drawback- it's hot to cook in the kitchen. The bedrooms have awesome aC and we slept like rocks. The town- delightful; many memories and meals we remember fondly- don't miss El Picante, La Picola. We also enjoyed an awesome BBQ of our own fresh caught wahoo at Laguna Vista. Such a great time, Thank You!

“Beautiful House” With a perfect view of the blue ocean and a really nice service we fully enjoyed our stay in akumal, the Hause is clean, comfortable, with a nice view and a pool. I can just say good things about it, is well located, just one minute walk from the restaurant and bar la buena vida and 5 minutes walk from the beach and the dive shop. Thanks for everything
