“Absolutely Wonderful & Perfect!” I would most definitely recommend Casa Frida to anyone looking for a place to stay in Merida!My husband and I felt like Katia and her mother, Patricia, went the extra mile to meet our every need. They made my family feel at home and welcome throughout our entire stay. The house was clean, beautiful and cozy! They provide you with cookware, utensils, etc. which made my stay with 2 children a lot easier!! The aC kept us nice and cool throughout our stay, as well as the gorgeous pool in the patio. The temperature of the water was perfect, and laying in the hammock was very relaxing. The neighborhood was friendly, safe and peaceful. There are many restaurants and stores close by, as well as the Centro Historico. I would absolutely recommend Casa Frida to anyone that is looking for a vacation rental! Whether it be for a family or a couple, you can't go wrong with this beautiful house. Thanks again Katia and Patricia for making our stay a very special one! “Wonderful experience” We stayed at Casa Colonial for a week and truly enjoyed it. Sara was a great and attentive host. She was very helpful in recommending and guiding us to all the good (and non touristy) restaurants and shops. She always ensured we were very comfortable. The villa has a very open plan with a beautiful garden, pool and a Jacuzzi. There are a lot of pet tortoises (with whom our daughter played for hours) and humming birds. Once you enter into the villa, it feels like you have entered an luxury oasis. Its very tranquil. Each of the condos is tastefully furnished and since each unit has two levels, guests can enjoy their own personal space. There are hammocks in front of each unit. This is where our teenager spent most of the time either reading or watching surfing the internet on his iPhone (yes, there is a free Wifi, too). The maid service was very good, too. Overall, we had a very wonderful experience. Our whole family enjoyed the stay thoroughly and we look forward to visiting, Casa Colonial and Sara again.

“Luxury Condo - perfect location!” I stayed here for 1 week and enjoyed it so much! The location is in the heart of the hotel zone and super close to the 2 best malls available in Cancun. On top of this, the beach is more private than the other establishments along the hotel zone. My family and I mostly went to the pool everyd ay and got snacks and pina colada's at the pool bar. The food and drinks are reasonably priced and delicious. As for the actual condo - it was truly everything the seller described it as. No gimmicks or false photos here - it was the real deal and beautiful (which was such a relief)! Believe me - I can be super picky, but this place lived up to and exceeded my expectations. This is the only place I will stay at again in Cancun :)

“Looks exactly like the pics.” I would stay here every trip to Mo Bay!!! The owner met me at the airport on time, was friendly and offered a ride. Since I already had a ride we followed him to the property. If I was not with a local I would of got lost for it was several twist and turns before entering the locked gates of the property. Close drive to everything. The neighbors were friendly. As I entered the 3rd floor apartment it felt like home. Every room looks like the pictures posted. We were provided pots, utensils, plates, drinks (liquor), wifi, cable, stereo system, telephone, linens, basically everything as if you were home except for food. Ac is only in the master bedroom however there was a breeze during the day (please note I traveled in October when it is much cooler in Jamaica). The first day I took a cold shower but the rest of the days I had hot water. I like nice views and I could see the ocean from the living room. Thanks Ian!!!

“Better than we could have imagined” We just got back from a weeks stay at the lovely Casa Caribena. My husband and I booked the house for 1 week with 10 other people. All adults, a mix of couples and singles. I really cant say enough good things about the staff of Casa Caribena and the house itself. The location is beautiful, the views from every balcony in the house, the food!! Believe the hype, it was fantastic. The staff are all so sweet and helpful. The house was always clean, very spacious. You will have trouble deciding where to hang out, as there are so many wonderful spots around the house. The roof top was a favorite of mine. I did yoga up there every morning and it was a quiet heaven. The beach is a bit rocky as others have indicated, but it was beautiful and clean nevertheless (not a negative at all). The sand is soft and nice, but just when you get out to the water it's a bit rocky. Many days we took the kayaks out and snorkeled from there. We saw tons of wildlife right from the beach. The Tulum Ruins and shops are a quick cab ride away. I felt completely safe the entire time. I would go back in a heartbeat! I will say, the electricity in our room went out in the middle of the night one night. I told Lily, and received a call from Lisa (the homeowner) within an hour, saying they were working on it and she was so sorry. It didn't cause us any problems at all and it I was actually nice to be able to see how accommodating and quick they were to fix a "problem" if you even want to call it that :) There's also a nice restaurant and Cenote a few houses down that you can walk to. Blue Sky (the restaurant) had great food, drinks and staff. Casa Caribena is truly such a gem! Heaven on earth!
