“Villa in Crete” We stayed at the house in early September. I was thrilled when I opened the door and saw the large modern, clean and open ground level. The house is beautifully restored with a clean modern kitchen, architecture fans will love it. Ancient village house and modern decor, a mix of old and new. It easily can fit 6 comfortably. I loved sitting out on the upper balcony in the mornings and looking out over the village houses. The neighbors gardens where ripe with pomegranate trees and bougainvillaea. It was easy to get from the house to the tourist sites around Crete, and there was a large super market on the main road before you come into the village where you could buy breakfast and other supplies. As you come into the village the road has some nice cafés and bake shops and there is a small store on the corner near the house. The family who own the house all speak English so it was easy for us since we do not Greek. We just had a great time there and would go back in a second there was so much more that we wanted to see in Crete.

“Most fantastic villa!!!” We had a wonderful week at Villa Clio. Everything was just perfect. Stunning sea view. Very romantic to see the sun go down over the sea every night. Fantastic pool. Extremely clean and excellent service from the owner. We really did not want to leave the place at all to go to Chania or the nearby most wonderful beaches of Crete. “Exceptional, Peacefull, Relaxation” This is the cleanest, most spickspan house we've ever rented for vacation! We are a family of four with a 20 and a 15 year old. Fully airconditioned in all rooms, even though we preferred to rather have windows and doors open during the days and enjoy the continous breeze from the sea. The view down to Rethymnon and the sea from both, the rooftop veranda and the ground level veranda, is breathtaking and ever so soul-refreshing. The villa is fairly high up on a mountain. The owners argiro and Nikos put every effort into making your stay pleasant and memorable. Due to a telephone in the house they can be reached anytime for advice. They show real pride in their villa and Nikos lovingly takes care of the garden, pool and watering the plants daily. When one of the outdoor chair covers ripped through normal wear and tear it was replaced within 24 hours with a smile; that's service! A special mention: the beds are comfortable!! One problem we encountered was the extremely steep driveway. Our rented car (1.3 ltr petrol)got down, but couldn't get back up without help. We returned it and got a car with decent engine power instead (1.4 ltr turbo diesel); plain sailing from there on thanks to the friendly service of Car Rental Crete in Heraklion. Argiro and Nikos are very friendly, open people with lots of heart. Thank you for a lovely holiday!

“A perfect quiet countryside getaway with lots of hospitality” We have stayed for two weeks on Villa Fouli for the second time and we've enjoyed every moment of it, talking, dining and singing with our hosts, going to the beach with our 2 year-old daughter, driving to the south for a bit of change. An ideal place to come and relax away of crowds with great hosts.

“Perfect holidays” The house location is directly on the beach. The house is big, clean and has 1100 q.m. garten. In the garten there is a shower with hot water, which I loved it, tennis table and oven to grill which we used many times evening. The beach is very safe for small children and water is very clear. The beginning of July was about 25-30 degree with light breeze in the evening. The water was warm and not hot like in august. We booked 2 weeks beginning July 2013 with my wife, 2 years old son and my parents. We lived on the top floor with 3 bedrooms. Washer were changed after 1 week, there were a lot of big and small towels prepared for us. In the house there is a washing machine and a big refrigerator. There is also air-conditioning system in 2 bedrooms and a new baby's high chair my son used by eating. We had a breakfast on the terrace with beautiful view to the see and evening we ate on the second terrace inside. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. The supermarkets are in max. 5 minutes by car. We got everything in Inka supermarket, also fresh fish mornings. The bus station is directly near the hous. You can reach the old town Chania in 10 minutes by bus or by taxi. The price for taxi 7 EUR, bus is about 2 EUR I think. There are also good Greece restorants around 10 minutes to go and a lot of them in Chania old town. We arrived by car from Heraklion and there is a parking place inside of hause. You can also book some trips by small car-train to the mountaince or some other sightseeings. Natali and her husband Yannis were very helpfull for us and we had a lovely dinner last evening. Yannis cooked potato with chicken in the oven in the garten and we enjoyed it all together! We prepaid by 2 money bank transfers to Natali as it was described on her website. Based on the recommendations from other websites I trusted to do that. Just want to say again thank you very munch for our holidays.
