“peace & quite with outstanding views & wild life” the house is well placed and easy to find, the layout was modern and well layed out with comfortable beds. For our first first holiday in Wales this was a good location to pick, we found plenty of places to go and eat, we dined out 6 out of 7 nights. We will defenently going back soon.

“Peaceful and stunning scenery” The property was in a beautiful location on a delightful farm deep in the Welsh countryside. The farm owner was very friendly and welcoming and the cottage was very beautiful and clean and well kitted out. The only real complaint I would have is that I felt it was very cold due to the time of year, and even with the fire on the the living room I often felt cold. But this is probably due to living in a very warm house anyway and this did not detract from the overall enjoyment of the property. I would definitely stay here again, during the warmer months of the year.

“Very good” The bungalow was lovely and clean and comfortable although our dog didn't like the laminate flooring as his legs splayed! Weather was awful (torrential rain and gale force winds almost non-stop from arrival) so only one day we could actually see the beautiful view. We left on the Thursday instead of staying the full week but that was no reflection on the bungalow at all, really was home from home with all the white goods readily available. Overall would like to re-visit one day if only we could guarantee the weather!!

“Value for money in the Welsh countryside” Friendly greeting from Farmer's wife next door. Property was ideal for large family group (3 generations from teenage to 60s). Lots of bathrooms and different areas. Very popular was the hot tub and games room. Farmer drove us up the local Mountain and we walked back down. It may be too remote for some but was ideal for us

“a relaxing experience” Knowing the area extremily well and just wanting a quiet winter half term break with our five and six year olds, we were far from disappointed with Hen argoed. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Loved the history of the cottage with its modern amenities. As we experienced fab weather for February, the view at the top of the lane in a morning, and out of the bathroom window(on tip toes) set you up for the day. Can't fault it and wouldn't hesitate in going again or recommending.

“We all had a superb stay, enjoying everything the owners offered” We were very well lokked after from the moment we arrived until we left. The cottage was lovely, ideal for 2 people. Maintained to a very good standard with everything that we needed. “Fantastic!” We all had such a fantastic time staying with Mr and Mrs Jones in their beautiful house. The extreme snow meant that we had to rely on them to help us get to and from the house and they were so willing to help at every turn, we couldn't have asked for better service! “Delightful bolthole in beautiful setting” This traditional Welsh cottage was located just a stones throw from the beach and harbour. We were spoilt for choice as to which stunning beach or woodland walk to take each day as there were so many beautiful destinations within easy reach on foot. The cottage is attractive, cosy, compact, comfortable, welcoming and well equipped. Pretty and enclosed front and back gardens enabled us to sit out and enjoy the sun at both the beginning and end of the day.

“relaxing break, cottage with fabulous views with wonderful woodl” We had a lovely time at the cottage, we loved learning how to use an aga ! Not too difficult to get right with the local welsh lamb from the local butcher. Perfect location to enjoy lazy nights in at the log burner, with a good book (loads to thumb through on the cottage bookcase) Cottage was really homely, beds were wonderfully clean and comfortable, great for lazy long lies waking up to views of sunshine over the bay. We took our dog, there are plenty of pretty walks in the woodlands all around the cottage.
