“Great location, great views, great condo” Five of us just returned from a week in Luna Encantada C-1 and I can't say anything but positives about the experience. The condo is just as advertised and even better than the pictures show. The location of the condo is perfect, just half of a block from the center of Fifth Avenue and right on the water. We loved being next door to Fusion, the food and drinks are as good as any in Playa del Carmen and the live music in the evenings was great. Jorge and the other guys who work on the beach were great when it came to setting up our chairs and umbrellas in the morning and running for drinks and food throughout the day. They work hard for their money and we always tipped them well at the end of every day. The housekeeping every other day was a real plus for us and they kept the place spotless. The highlight of the week was when our son got engaged to his girlfriend at dinner Wednesday evening! It made the rest of the week even more perfect!!! About the only negative thing I can say about C-1 was the shower heads were partially clogged but it was a minor inconvenience that could be fixed with a little bit of vinegar overnight. All in all, this was a perfect vacation for us all and we can't wait to go back again.

“just as advertised” This is really a wonderful condo, just as advertised it had everything to offer. It is very clean inside and is quite cozy. The location as well is great, just a few mins from town and a quick walk to the beach. I would recommend this place to my friends and plan on returning one day. Thankyou for s a lovely stay. cheryl

“Awesome and Totally amazing!” The Condo: This was our first visit to CR and at the risk of sounding very repetitive, I am going to say it anyway. This Condo is absolutely amazing! We were actually taken back by the views, the weather, and beauty of it all. The condo itself is very well maintained. The beds are very nice and excellent to sleep on. there is usually a very nice breeze that can get strong at times so you need to be careful of the bedroom doors. The condo is relatively close to the beach at say 200 to 250 yards. The local terrain is very hilly and as such it us a little bit of a walk uphill when you come back from the beach. Our Garmin and Trackit Maps didn't show Oceanica on any of the categories so you may have to use the resort right across the street to find it as addresses are not used in CR at all. We give this one 5 star rating!!! Well worth the time to visit. Daphne: Daphne was absolutely the best host you could ever ask for! She provided all the information I asked for and needed. She even graciously helped with the car rental (Economy). Daphne is indeed kind and tremendously gracious. Restaurants: We chose to eat at the local restaurants (locals call them Sodas). There are a good number of these within say 5 miles and all are wonderful. Local CR cuisine is amazing and filling. Even though we do not speak Spanish it wasn't that hard to figure out and order food. Ticas and Ticos are wonderful people. We would definitely go back in a heart beat!

“A week in paradise” I now know what paradise is like, having spent 7 days at Palma Real, Neville Gardners wonderful condo, facilities amazing, location truly wonderful. “Wonderful vacation” We spent a Christmas week on the villa and received everything we were dreaming to have during this vacation - a spacious and tastefully decorated villa, very clean and comfortable; a big and clean pool, and an ocean - beautiful and relaxing. It was a great pleasure to have a breakfast on the patio on the second floor, to listen the ocean and breathe fresh salty air, or to relax in hammock during the day or in the evening. The small town of Telchack has few awesome restaurants with fresh seafood and delicious local deserts, it is very quite, far from tourist crowds and local people are very friendly. We have also enjoyed flamingos and other birds watching in the lagoon just few minutes drive, local ruins, ceinotes and Merida with its cultural events. This vacation had just one disadvantage - it passed too quickly. I wish we'll have at least two weeks to spend there.

“Awesome experience” We had a wonderful time at the condo. The service and the staff there is excellent and the condo is very luxurious. We enjoyed every moment and took advantage to take a dip in the ocean every morning. It's so great, that the beach is only steps away. “Great condo - definitely worth going” Had a great time at this place. Loved the location. Close to the beach, close to 5th avenue, close to Wal-Mart and further superstores. As the condo is not directly located on 5th avenue you don't hear the noise of the restaurants, clubs etc. during the nights. The condo is nicely furnished and decorated and equipped with all you need to have a great time. Really enjoyed having breakfast on the terrace. The building itself is very modern and very well maintained. The roof-top pool is perfect to relax and enjoy the great view. As there is only a limited number of condos in the building you feel very private. Papaya's staff is really welcoming and helpful. Organisation of check-in & check-out were great and the team has good tips for things to do in Playa. Communication with Elena & Christian prior to the trip was very nice. Thanks a lot. I can highly recommend your condo.

“Wonderful experience” We stayed at Casa Colonial for a week and truly enjoyed it. Sara was a great and attentive host. She was very helpful in recommending and guiding us to all the good (and non touristy) restaurants and shops. She always ensured we were very comfortable. The villa has a very open plan with a beautiful garden, pool and a Jacuzzi. There are a lot of pet tortoises (with whom our daughter played for hours) and humming birds. Once you enter into the villa, it feels like you have entered an luxury oasis. Its very tranquil. Each of the condos is tastefully furnished and since each unit has two levels, guests can enjoy their own personal space. There are hammocks in front of each unit. This is where our teenager spent most of the time either reading or watching surfing the internet on his iPhone (yes, there is a free Wifi, too). The maid service was very good, too. Overall, we had a very wonderful experience. Our whole family enjoyed the stay thoroughly and we look forward to visiting, Casa Colonial and Sara again.

“Fantastic!” My wife and I stayed three nights in unit 216. The service (from the maids to the front desk attendents)at this condo was exceptional. I think 216 is one of the best units this place has to offer. Each night we would sit on our private balcony overlooking the beautifully landscaped courtyard and pool and talk about how we never want to leave. The unit is very clean and nicely decorated. The location cannot be beat. The beach is a one block walk and Fifth avenue with its countless restaurants and local shops is one block in the other direction. This is truly a great place to spend a vacation. My wife and I are already planning a return trip!

“Great Vacation” My wife and I recently stayed two nights in unit 341 at the El Taj Oceanfront. This unit was beautiful! The white, sandy beach is literally about 20 steps from the front door. It was clean and very well decorated. The view from the living room looks out past the pool to the ocean. There is a very large private belcony off the master bedroom that offers a quiet spot for coffee in the morning. The staff at El Taj were extremely nice and very accommodating. If you are looking for a very clean, well-kept, relaxing unit that is on the beach, I would highly recommend you stay here.
