“great stay in Vineyard Haven” We enjoyed staying in David's guest house. It was clean, well situated (a short walk from downtown Vineyard Haven), and made for a relaxing few days on the Vineyard. David was easy to reach and very responsive to any of our needs. I would highly recommend you stay at the guesthouse.

“Quiet” This house was in a great location! While we were a mile from the beach, as you sat in the yard you could hear the waves crashing. House was well equipped and good size for our family.

“Excellent Location” This home is ideally located halfway between Edgartown and South Beach. It is not oceanfront, very few homes in MV are. From the third floor you can just make out South Beach in the distance, it takes about 2 minutes by car. South Beach is sandy and uncrowded, although the waves are often too rough for small children to play in. Edgartown, by far the nicest of the towns on MV, is 5 minutes by car. This home is excellent for bike riders, as a wide bike trail connects South Beach and Edgartown, running virtually right next to this house. The house is well-stocked with linens, bath towels, beach towels, Dvds, books, games, toys for children of various ages, beach chairs, sand toys, and a pool table. The kitchen and dining area are spacious, and 10 people can share this house without feeling crowded. The house is not air conditioned, which is fine for most of the day. However, the house gets full sun for the entire day, and although there is generally a fair breeze, it can get very warm inside. There is a nice big yard for kids to play frisbee or badminton, but the landscaping of the yard is less than its neighbors. Do note that the perimeter has poison ivy and deer ticks, so use caution. There is a small private airport nearby, but the airplane noise is not bothersome at all, in fact, it is rather cool to see Wwii Flying ace-type planes taking off and landing from time to time. We would definitely stay here again, although it is very expensive. Of course, you knew that when you decided to vacation in MV, right? Expect to pay significantly more for everything than you would in the Outer Banks of NC, for example.

“My favorite house” This was my favorite house yet on MV and we have rented many all over the island. It was perfect for my family of 4. Lovely old house with character with a fresh coat of paint so it was not stale, just charming and beautifully decorated. Light and sunny with lots of windows to open. We love to cook and the kitchen was stocked. We didn't need to bring anything. You can walk to the best of Edgartown and still have privacy on a quiet dead end street even in August.

“Great Stay” Our family has stayed twice at this house and loved it both times. The location is perfect and the house is comfortable, well-equipped and exactly what we had in mind when we rented it! It was large enough to accommodate our family, a perfect distance from town and the owners were very generous and gracious. We definitely hope to be back!!
