“Peace & Tranquility” I have stayed here 4+ times, and I come home relaxed and rejuvenated. It's centrally located in the middle of the western cape, the sunsets are perfect, we usually have meals out on the expansive deck, we bring our kayaks, watch the shipping entering the canal, walk/run/bike the canal path(both sides), cook or grill fresh seafood from local stores, enjoy the wine tastings at the Belfry, jump over to the vineyard for the day, and did I mention the sunsets? The home is roomy, light and airy, plenty of parking, just perfect for us.

“Heaven away from home” Love this house, our 2nd year here. The house is perfect for our two families or adults and 4- 20 somethings. Everything you need is here (except linens than can be rented from auntie Vi's)which makes life easy to come off of the private beach for lunch or dinner. Great restaurants nearby (walking distance) including the Ocean House and the Oyster Company and of course never skip Sundae School for dessert. My only complaint is that the seaweed needs to be raked and the beach is not marked as private so people from the public beach adjacent come over to the beach.

“Great!” 4 Flakeyard road is tucked away on a private / shared access part of the beach. The home is lovely with all of the amenities you could want. Excellent deck for evenings and daytime sunning. Second living room which is great for the kids to have time to romp around in. Thanks for a great stay.

“delightful” this was the second year in a row that we rented the house. they installed new washer and dryer. it is kept up very nicely. new grill outdoors too. the extra shower outside the house is very helpful. having our own private beach makes all the difference. we came with two teenagers, and other four grand kids. they love to play outdoors and swim constantly. yes, there is seaweed on the beach and shells, but once you go beyond the first two feet, it is fantastic. love the large dining area where we all play board games in the evening. looking forward to next August :)

“Heaven on the Cape” This house is one of the best places I have stayed over the course of my travels. It is well arranged and the location and private water front/beach can not be beat. I so look forward to walking in the front door and immediately opening all of the windows and doors to see and hear the waves hitting the shore.

“Perfect place in Dennis Port” The location was fantastic for our purposes...a few things (i.e. restaurants/bars) within waling distance; 25 feet up the boardwalk to the beach (semi-private, sandy, with sea shells for our two year old daughter to find, and terrific view of the ocean from both the main level deck and roof-top deck). Great house, overall. Martha Murray Real Estate was easy to work with, very quick to reply to queries and provided an additional aC unit to us upon request (of course, my wife is pregnant so I believe that's how we got that particular accommodation). Next time on the Cape, I'll look for their properties.

“dennisport vacation spot” it was a fresh, clean place. Walking distance to several dining places. Great place to take a walk and relaxing on the beach was the best. Did not have to haul chairs etc to beach, it was right there. Loved it.

“Private Farm House” This was a beautiful, simple farmhouse in the most beautiful setting. Very private. Lots of comfortable space. I loved the fact that it had no television. The groundskeeper was extremely friendly and helpful. Probably my favorite house and setting during the ten years I have been going to Martha's Vineyard. My only two complaints were (1) The mosquitoes on Chappy were thick and would eat us alive, at times. (2) When we wanted to go back and forth to Martha's Vineyard, we had the additional cost of the ferry...which added up quickly.
