“Authentic, laid-back, non-touristy Hawaiian experience.” My husband and I just spent a week at Hale Kawehi. We loved every minute of it. Full disclosure: we both love cats and this charming Hawaiian home came with an especially loving tabby cat who greeted us every time we returned from an outing as soon as he discovered he was welcome. The house is much larger than the average guest house. It is charming and homey. It has a fully equipped kitchen and two covered patios where breakfast is a treat. Its location is central and easy to find as well as having easy access to local shops and restaurants. We were looking for a relaxed, non-touristy visit to get a sense of every day Hawaiian life and we achieved that goal well beyond what we might have hoped. “Comfortable and Relaxing” This quaint home is located in a quiet and peaceful area of the Big Island. I found the house to be very clean and comfortable, with a special touch of lighting decor. “"Lovely"” We stayed at Suite Aloha in September for 11 days. The room was spacious, airy and very comfortable. There was a huge ceiling fan to cool the entire room throughout the day and night. We were awakened by the sweet fragrance of plumeria as it floated through the windows every morning. Lovely! Sabine thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. We were welcomed with fresh fruit and a Beautiful arrangement of fresh Hawaiian flowers. There were beach items available for us to use including a beach umbrella, chairs, mats and beach bag. The location was ideal. We could easily walk to Kailua Beach or to Kailua town. Kailua town has plenty of upscale shops and restaurants. There was even a brand new Target there. We would definitely stay there again. It was lovely!

“Sugar Beach Best” This is an awesome condo. I just wish there was more availability! Other owners at Sugar Beach should take notice of the remodel. If you haven't updated, you really should! The bathrooms at Sugar Beach are so small and if they aren't renovated, the experience is not great. Love the lightness of the paned doors for the bedroom. Many of the Sugar Beach bedrooms feel like caves. This one is light and bright. Plus, a TV in the bedroom. Bonus!!

“All about the view” This place is a bit away from the action and requires one to get into the car for anything from restaurants to nicer public beaches. BUT the views are absolutely fantastic! Sitting down for dinner on our lanai was very special. The sunset was beautiful. The complex was nice with all that you really need: BBQs, Pool, small beach, etc... The unit is well located on the 4th floor to maximise the view. Although the Kitchen has been renovated some other aspects of the unit probably needs renovations. Everything is functional, but aesthetics are just OK. I would still highly recommend.

“Property Management company and resident Manager.” Property management company was supportive and provided very helpful concierge information. Was responsive to simple issue that arose and very professional and pleasant. The resident manager at the building was friendly and very informative. A great experience all around.

“Kihei Beach Condo” What a beautiful condo with amazing views! From our booking to our greeting by Ali'i Resort's representative, we were given excellent recommendations and introduced to our accommodations. The area is easily accessible to Kihei and north to Lahania. The outrigger canoes added extra enjoyment throughout our stay. It's a perfect place to stay.

“Royal Mauian” The view from the lanai was amazing! The unit was very comfortable and well kept. Kitchen has everything you need from utensils to platters and cookware. The only thing we missed was air conditioning. We were there on record high temps but we survived thanks to the ceiling fans and nice breeze in the evenings.
