“Vary nice” Accomodations were modern and clean. Resort is beautifully kept. I want to particualry praise the cleaning staff. The two women who came daily were amazing.

“Great place but internet needs an upgrade” The place was great but the internet was down almost all week. Everything is booked online these days so it was rally a pain not to have this working. Please upgrade the internet since it definitely impacted our experience.

“A Beautiful Unit” This unit has everything that a family of 4 needs to have a great vacation. Our boys loved the short walk to the ocean but were a little disappointed that there were no rackets for the paddle tennis court. The housekeepers were very helpful and security was very professional. We would be happy to rent this unit again.

“A great family time” We enjoyed unit 509 and 203. Both were well stocked units. Kihei Beach Resort has been home for our bi-yearly family trips since 1980. Amazing how well cared for the place is after all these years.

“Property Management company and resident Manager.” Property management company was supportive and provided very helpful concierge information. Was responsive to simple issue that arose and very professional and pleasant. The resident manager at the building was friendly and very informative. A great experience all around.

“Fabulous location” The location is perfectly lodged between our two favorite beaches, Kamaole 1 and Kamaole 2. This unit is not as updated as others in the complex, but it has a spectacular view. Between poorly functioning ceiling fans and a hot dryer, it was difficult to keep the room comfortable even with Kihei's famous tradewinds.

“Great stay-again!” For the past 15 years we have stayed at Kamaole Nalu. Always a pleasure and such great staff and service. Nothing is lacking and that is why we will return next October!

“Thanks So Much!” We had a great time. Also going to sleep and waking up to the sound of the ocean right outside window WOW! The condo has a lot to offer, with a bathroom for each room and vanity area was a neat plus. The only concern was how the line of sight that others could see when they were on their balconies, if your curtain was open, it would be wise to be properly dressed because several times when you look up, you would see somebody looking at you. Our host Pat, Awesome!

“Sugar Beach” Just returned from a week stay in Maui and enjoyed our stay at this Condo. Upstairs unit with beautiful view of the ocean from the Kitchen, Living Room and Lanai. The until was well equipped with most of the comforts of home. Our only complaint would be that a few minor items needed repair (would have been nice if the screen on the front door would have been repaired during our stay) and the carpets were in need of cleaning. Nice grounds around this two story complex and a nice long beach footsteps from your door. Located on the quite north end of Kihei on Sugar Beach.

“Love the Nalu” We love the Nalu, have stayed many times, first time at this unit. Was too hot in July without A/C! (none are in this complex) Unit was updated nicely. Pool is getting re-tiled in August, that is a needed improvement.

“Great location!” We really enjoyed our stay at Elua Village 1305. The proximity to the beach was outstanding as was the sunsets each and every night. Three beds and baths with 6 people make life very comfortable. The unit could use some updates such as a new dishwasher, but all in all things were good. The only complaints I had were we rented the unit assuming twin beds in rooms 2 and 3 and one had a queen which put a person on a roll away and the over powering security. The security was over the top in that it literally pursued people. A father and 5 year old playing catch with a nerf were told not to as were several others. When I questioned them I was told they "pursue" this conduct. Why have a nice grass area if people get kicked off. Sorry but Al and co need to hang lose on things. All in all a very nice place.

“Sugar Beach Best” This is an awesome condo. I just wish there was more availability! Other owners at Sugar Beach should take notice of the remodel. If you haven't updated, you really should! The bathrooms at Sugar Beach are so small and if they aren't renovated, the experience is not great. Love the lightness of the paned doors for the bedroom. Many of the Sugar Beach bedrooms feel like caves. This one is light and bright. Plus, a TV in the bedroom. Bonus!!

“wonderful property, alii people very friendly and helpful” Was able to check in at 1:00 PM which was very helpful. The personnel from alii were, as usual very friendly and helpful. Condo comfortable and clean. Two bathrooms a good feature. Second year in this condo and reserved for next year.

“Excellent! Excellent! excellent!” We have stayed in Unit #110 in 2013 and 2014 and we are already looking at our calendar for 2015 - the staff at ali'i Resorts are the best - from the time you call for a quote to the day you have finished your vacation they are there for you - the cleaning staff are excellent as well - this is a cement building so you do not hear anyone upstairs or beside you - being an end unit you have more privacy when eating outside on your lanai - if you need some shade this unit has a beautiful big palm tree to sit under right in front of your unit next to the ocean - this unit is located just off the highway coming from the airport and is centrally located for shopping including groceries - at Foodlands make sure you ask for a free customer card and you receive 10% off all your groceries - it never expires and we use our year after year - right across the street from the condo is a fruit and vegetable fresh market as well as an aBC store that is open until 11 PM every night if you have run out of milk, eggs, beer etc. The only thing that we mentioned to ali'i Resorts on this current trip is the matresses on the twin beds in the 2nd bedroom should be changed soon as they are not as firm as they used to be - the matress in the 1st bedroom is new and excellent - what we totally enjoy is the tranquility of the property and the cleanliness and the value for what you receive - my husband and I have very busy lives here at home and so it is sure nice to relax and have the ocean right there - you can't go wrong in renting this Unit.

“Kihei Beach Condo” What a beautiful condo with amazing views! From our booking to our greeting by Ali'i Resort's representative, we were given excellent recommendations and introduced to our accommodations. The area is easily accessible to Kihei and north to Lahania. The outrigger canoes added extra enjoyment throughout our stay. It's a perfect place to stay.

“Amazing View!” We had a great stay in Maui at the Kihei Beach Resort. We had a beautiful view of the ocean and enjoyed looking for whales. Fantastic walking beach where we could have walked about six miles in a northerly direction. The ali'i property management met us our first day and checked back with us to see if we had any questions. If we ever return to Maui, we definitely will consider staying here again!

“The view was fabulous, and we had a great time!” This was our third year at Kamaole Nalu but our first in #606. It is a very nice unit. We enjoyed the updated kitchen as we cooked in quite a bit. We recommended Kamaole Nalu to our daughter. Consequently, she and her family and our niece and her husband are staying in #606 at the end of June. It was a pleasant surprise to receive the very nice gift bag this year. We really enjoyed the treats. One of the best things about staying at Kamaole Nalu is Pat, the manager. She is so helpful and friendly! We always enjoy visiting with her when we return. Paul and Judy Kuter

“Sugar Beach 121” Such a great place to stay. Very centralized in relation to all areas of maui. The beach is fantastic, with nice white sand and awesome body/ boogie boarding waves. Another plus is parking is included with your suite rental. Not like most places up in Lahaina. Also the tour booking company attached to the main office has wonderful service. We booked all our trips there.

“Great value. Nice place.” Overall a great value, and I would consider staying there again. Ideally, I would get a unit that faced the ocean directly, rather than the complex interior. The complex is older, but you'll only notice this from the layout. The unit itself was updated and very clean and well stocked. The pictures are accurate with a nice pool+grass+beach+ocean view. Plenty of parking. Nice people. Kihei worked well for us as it was centrally located, but be aware that it has a reputation for being windy, and was for us. Positive experience, we enjoyed it, but consider these few items that may influence your selection: You can hear mild road noise There's a constant AC or Koi pond pump hummmmm. Don't know if you can escape this anywhere, but it distracted me from the ocean sounds One of the bedrooms shares a wall with the elevator, and you can hear and feel it when it's active Check the location on a map...there's not much around the complex. We liked that, but you may want easier walking access to places and activities.

“Best place to relax and recharge” Stayed here for 6 days/5 nights as a way to get away from everyone and everything and it did not disappoint! The condo was clean and modern. Can't beat flatscreen TVs in both the living room and bed room with cable! :) The location is perfect. Every morning, I would wake up and take a 3 mile (roundtrip) walk just on the beach while watching the canoe clubs practicing; can't really think of a better way to escape and relax. The location is great. The building is right across the street from a Farmers Market (M-F), ABC Store, and bakery that makes the best coconut/banana cream pies. Definitely will be booking another trip here again.

“Clean and spacious with attentive service” This is a nice condo rental for Wailea. While the furnishings and mattresses are not that up to date, the cleanliness and location are very good. I found the kitchen in particular to have very good supplies. When I complained about the terrible coffee maker, it was replaced immediately. I should have complained during our stay instead of afterwards, and we might have been able to make good coffee while there. The cleaning service was very good. I would have appreciated a second set of beach towels as one set is not nearly enough for a beach vacation. I also would say that the master bedroom mattress was not supportive and is probably too old. This unit is on the row closest to the road so if your 2nd bedroom sleepers are light ones, they might be bothered by traffic noise. Overall this is a great condo village to stay at, but these units are old and you are paying for proximity to the beach, not high end units.

“Kihei Condo at Sugar Beach by Alii Resorts” Great property. Beach at your lanai back door. Easy access. Fully furnished with all utensils. Wonderful having breakfast on the lanai patio, listening to the waves and walking out 30 yards to the ocean.

“Our Best Vacation to Date” We had a wonderful time in Maui and truly enjoyed our condo at Wailea Ekolu. The views of the ocean were amazing (whale watching from our lanai). We really appreciated that we were in a quiet location but still close to all the action. There were 4 adults and 2 children in the condo and we had plenty of room. Ali'i Resorts took care of us-we had a issue with the microwave not working on the first day and they had a replacement there within hours. The unit was very clean and the resort staff were always friendly and accommodating (whether it be answering questions about Maui or booking excursion or just bringing some extra toilet paper). We checked out other beaches but found ourselves always coming back to Wailea Beach- the best one for us- great snorkelling and waves for boogie boarding as well as easy access (about a 10-15 min walk from the condo). Can't wait to return.

“Awesome” We love this location - the resort is perfect for us as we love to walk the beach and we appreciate the well kept grounds and the proximity to the ocean.
