Enchanting log cabin, trout pond you can fish, stunning mtn views, quiet

Red Lodge log cabin

2 bedrooms / 1 bathroom / sleeps 6

“Amazing!” Simply amazing! My sister found this gem for us so we could get away to celebrate Father's Day weekend. Cheryl thought of everything and then some! We had the most wonderful time and plan to stay again, hopefully longer next time! The kids thought it was wonderful that they could take the paddle boat out themselves as we watched from the shore. We enjoyed bird watching, relaxing, making ice cream, feeding our new equine friends treats, smores by the fire and some much needed family time. I would give 10 stars, if I could!! Thank you so much for everything!!

Fishing cabin on the Stillwater River

Nye log cabin

“Perfect little getaway” This was our second time visiting. The cabin is in such a picture perfect area. You can hear the river flowing outside your bedroom window, there are tons of deer and turkey, plenty of hiking spots within a 30 minute drive, beautiful trees and mountains all around. We loved to bbq and have all meals outside surrounded by beauty. There’s a fire pit also which we use every night. This is such a peaceful getaway. It’s a great place to go when you need to slow down and just breathe.

“Amazing!” My husband and I rented this cabin for a week of exploration and relaxation. This cabin offered it all - and more! With a 30-40 minute drive, we were at the entrance to Yellowstone National Park which allowed us to do much exploration in our attempt to see as much wildlife as possible. The cabin was also close to hiking trails within Yellowstone and Gallatin National Forest. We spent some of our time relaxing at the cabin hanging out on the river, making use of the back porch and hot tub every night. I would definitely recommend this cabin and rental group. Everything was easy to set up and the cabin was equipped with everything we needed.

“Spectacular” The service and information prior to arrival was wonderful. We followed all directions which were so easy and walked into a beautifully decorated, clean home that met all of our expectations. The one word that came out of everyone's mouth upon entering was, "awesome!" With an open floor plan, spacious rooms for gathering and sleeping, and a kitchen that met every cook's wildest dreams we were "home". We followed the directions for Montana air conditioning which worked perfectly. That was everyone's favorite time- going to sleep with the windows open hearing the Gallatin River flow behind us. The yard was perfect for lawn games. We loved the country feel but it it was still so close to town for our many trips doing wedding planning. We loved every minute and we were sad to leave the house as well as Bozeman.

“Fabulous” The information and directions provided were excellent. What a lovely log cabin--one of the very best we have stayed at, especially the hot tub!! The views and proximity to the Yellowstone River were both exciting and relaxing--sipping a beverage from the rocking chair on the veranda or from the hot tub. Eagles, geese, cedar waxwings, mourning doves were everywhere. Everything was spotless and well maintained. The beds were comfortable and lots of room for our family to be either all together--or space to hang out. The trip to Boiling River in Yellowstone was so great--what an experience. Thanks for the info--just don't forget to bring water shoes (and your camera). Lots of buffalo for entertainment as well. Thank you for such a wonderful holiday for our family.

“Beautiful house on the Gallatin” This is our third visit to Montana from the UK and our first visit to the Galllatin. The house itself is beautiful and extremely well-equipped and comfortable. The beds were great as were all the bathrooms, tons of hot water! The hot tub was an added bonus which we all enjoyed too. We did, however, feel slightly mis-led about the proximity of the (very) busy road so close to the house and sadly, we were very disappointed in the garden - not really a garden at all as very overgrown and with nowhere to sit or sunbathe. The steps down to the river were steep (we were all fine with them) but young children would find them a challenge! Proximity to activities was superb, white water rafting and zip lining right on our doorstep. We will return to Montana next year as we are all in love with it but probably not to this house!

Rockin TJ Ranch Vacation Home

“Beautiful, peaceful, lovely vacation home” We loved our stay at Terea's lovely vacation home. It was well arranged, in a beautiful setting just a few minutes from Bozeman with mountain views from every window. Teresa is a bundle of energy who caters to weddings and other social events and provided us with delicious foods that she served for these events. Her home was clean with a fully equiped kitchen and a clean and inviting hot tub just outside a covered outdoor eating area. We so appreciated everthing Teresa did to make our stay exceptional. I would highly recommend this quiet lovely home to others.

“Yellowstone” It was such a beautiful cabin along the Yellowstone River. So peaceful while you are enjoying the hot tub. Deer and rabbits come into the yard. It was Only a 40 minute drive to the park and we always got up early to beat all the traffic. It was nice to have Chico Hot Springs Resort and Mill Creek for hiking near by. Loved the nearby towns to visit as well, Thank you to Austin and Chalua we appreciate how clean and organized the cabin was kept ! Laura S.

A Montana Island Home

Bozeman house

4 bedrooms / 4 bathrooms / sleeps 7

“Great solitude and functionality for a large family getaway!” The home is well stocked with odds and ends of things you might need. Check with the owner in advance to minimize packing because they have everything! The home has 4 large bedrooms (3 with attached bathrooms) and the rooms are dispersed throughout the home to allow for optimal privacy. The kitchen allows for several people to hang out without feeling too crowded. The backyard is spacious and private. You can hear the river flowing from your window while you sleep. The house stays nice and cool during the summer at night. It is also very quiet. We stayed a total of 3 nights and floated the Madison River on 2 of the days we were there. It is just a 20 minute drive up to drop in the River. However, it is also close to an area with gas stations and shops if you do need something. You can feel like you are at a private mountain getaway but you don't have to go too far. We had a group of 10 and we were all very comfortable in this home. We had plenty of space and privacy. I highly recommend it for this size of group or smaller!

Point of View overlooking the Yellowstone River

Pray house

3 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms / sleeps 8

“Our stay in Paradise” We so enjoyed our week in Paradise. Thank you for sharing your "Point of View”. It has been spectacular. The home was very clean, spacious, and well-appointed. It was actually my second time in Montana. We visited Glacier two years ago. That was awesome, of course, but the accommodations here + the wildlife viewing are unbeatable. It has been like waking up every day inside a painting. My eyes will be sad to wake up to the flatlands (although lush) of Toledo, Ohio. Thanks for providing such a clean, well-appointed place to rest and relax after days of fun in Yellowstone. What an area. We were thrilled to visit the park 3 different times. Our best moments were in Lamar Valley. We saw buffalo (+calves!), black bear (2) + grizzlies (2). In addition, we saw a bald eagle, elk (one with at least a 7 foot rack) antelope, mule deer, ducks, geese, and several bird species I could not identify. The park was amazing. We saw wildlife near the cabin and lots of pelicans, as well. It has been a memorable experience for us, our family dogs included. We had the time of our lives. We hope to come again! Cozy Cabin with Private Hot Tub and Amazing Views!

Bozeman log cabin

1 bedroom / 1 bathroom / sleeps 4

“Timber quiet” Great little timber frame cabin in the middle of farm country. It was peaceful and had a very beautiful view. Though it is near the owners house, they have done things to give plenty of privacy. The furniture and beds were both comfortable and usable. It has spiral stairs to the bedroom, but you can walk around the cabin and enter from below, if you need to, or for moving in a larger bag. Jenny and family were great to work with, and we would stay again.

The Cargill-Earl Guesthouse at Erik's Ranch

Livingston log cabin

2 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms / sleeps 6

“Secluded, Amazing Views” My husband and I had a great stay at Erik's Ranch. A great place to stay if you are looking for a secluded, quiet experience. It is close enough to Livingston that you can easily get everything you need. If you are looking to go to Yellowstone, this would be a great place to stay for the first or last part of your trip. Also, there are some great hiking trails not very far from the property. We look forward to going back. It is notable that, although not necessary, we were really glad we chose a Jeep as a rental car to get to this property. A little leg of the trip to the cabin is unpaved.

Peaceful Slice of Paradise Livingston Yellowstone

Livingston log cabin

“A beautiful and peaceful rental at a good price.” My husband and I stayed in this rental with two teenage boys. We thought the property was as beautiful as it could be, with mountains and hills all around. There was a lot of room to spend time outdoors playing ball, etc. I went for walks on the gravel road with barely any cars driving by. Very peaceful. The property has a pond and river that you could fish in, although we catch anything. The water was pretty cold as it was still mountain run-off from melting snow, but I can imagine later in the season there would be a lot of entertainment playing in the water. The rental unit is right next to the owner's house, but they situated the rental in such a way that you don't see the house. The owner leaves for work early in the morning so you hear a garage door, but otherwise it was very quiet. The studio apartment (which I had forgotten means no separate bedroom) was nicely decorated and pleasant in every way. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds/furniture were comfortable. They had a brand new sleeper couch which stayed comfortable through all 4 nights. There is cable tv and wifi, although sometimes the wifi connection is a bit touchy. We spent three days in Gardiner and Yellowstone, and I have to say that this rental is a little far away if you want to travel a lot in Yellowstone. Coming into the park at the North entrance means you do a lot of driving to see the sights in addition to the half hour from the house to the park. But the road to the park is gorgeous, so this would not necessarily be a reason to stay away. There is a small grocery store 2 miles away, and Livingston is 18 miles to the North. It was easy to find. The owner was very easy to contact and deal with. They were very helpful when we arrived, and then left us alone afterwards. All in all, I loved the rental and would recommend it to anyone. The only drawback was not having separate bedrooms, but it is advertised as a studio, and I just had forgotten what that meant.

Pure Montana rustic, elegant cabin near Yellowstone Pk, Chico and fishing

Livingston log cabin

1 bedroom / 1 bathroom / sleeps 4

“Beautiful Cabin in wonderful environment” This cabin clearly met and exceeded our expectation. It felt like coming home in a hot bath. The location is really amazing, Paradise Valley is spot on! The cabin itself is very well equipped. The masterbed is excellent, the second bed is more than good. Kitchen is very well equipped, BBQ at your disposal. The views are spectacular, which window of the cabin you choose, all great. The service provided was more than excellent, very friendly and we felt like home. Clearly a highlight in our USA trip. If I could I would rate more than 5 stars.
