“Sandos Playacar is Amazing!” My family - me, my husband and two kids - just returned from an amazing week at the Sandos Playacar in Playa Del Carmen. We had such a fantastic time and LOVED Sandos. Everything was great - the food, the staff, the facilities, the entertainment and more! Sandos is a truly beautiful resort - the hacienda was spacious, clean and had all the amenities we needed. The food at the al a carte restaurants was especially good, although we enjoyed the buffet breakfasts very much. The staff bent over backwards to help us with everything. The beach section was beautiful with plenty of comfortable lounge chairs, beds and hammocks to relax in. A short walk down the beach-2 minutes- brought us to a snorkeling area that was filled with tropical fish. The evening entertainment was top notch! All of our plans were booked through Georgette Flamm who provided detailed information and assistance every step of the way. She provided tons of info about the rooms and the resort, reserved transportation from the airport and gave us other valuable tips about our visit to Sandos. She responded to all of my questions immediately - I really was impressed how easy she made it! I would absolutely recommend Georgette Flamm and Sandos to anyone!!

“nice place” The Condo was very nice & very clean, we enjoyed our stay and the owner was very nice and also gave us details on good places to eat and things to see. St Simon Island was beautiful. The only thing was we thought we could fish on the place but was told we could not by another owner.The owner did give us a place on a pier just 1/2 mild from were we stayed to fish and it was beautiful. It would have been a little more convenient if there had be a TV up stairs since we did not care to watch most of the things our husbands watch, but other than these two things it was great.

“Quiet, Beautiful, Awesome” I would highly recommend renting this unit. It is a beautiful 3 bedroom unit that faces the water with a HUGE deck. The unit is fully stocked with everything you can possibly imagine - nothing left out! Very comfortable beds and the owners have thought of every possible comfort you may need (fans, extra pillows, bikes, kayaks, the list goes on and on) Plus the owner checked in via text twice during our stay to make sure everything was going great and if we needed anything. It is about 20 minutes from Galveston so very easy access.

“Worth It!!!” Our family stayed at Westgate Lakes for one week during Spring Break. We had a four bedroom condo and the space was fabulous!!! We were more than impressed with the resort staff and all the ammenities. The location was also very excellent and so easy to find and so close to the attractions we wanted to visited. “Awesome View” We were met by Robert upon our late arrival. It's a suffifucient space for 2-3 adults. As described in the listing "Ocean view from every room and few steps to beach" . Beautiful/sunny weather and it rained only one day during our one week stay. Bed is comfortable and pillows and sheets are clean and nice too. It has air condition and, ceiling fan each in the living room and bedroom too. Internet works great! A parking is provided just downstairs at the entrance to the building. We walked on the boardwalk everyday. We loved shopping at the Sawgrass Factory Outlet! Many grocery stories are 5 min drive. Would stay at this place again. Thank you!

“Great Vacation” Gone Bananas is arguably the newest and nicest property on Lubbers. Lubbers is a short boat boat ride from Elbow Cay and the Hopetown Settlement. Lubbers doesn't have many amentities besides Lubbers Landing, Cracker P's, Down Deep Fish Store and Dee's Bread, but if you are comfortable handling a center console, it's a great place to be away from the crowd without being too far away. Both Patrick and austin are excellent proprieters at the two restaurants. Definitely rent a 20-23 ft boat (Albury recommended) for your entire stay so you can easily hop over to Tilloo, Hopetown or Nippers on Great Guana Cay. A stretch golf cart is provided and is perfect for checking out the island and taking things to and from the boat. The house has an easy to operate generator for the routine power outages (power outages are part of the charm of the Bahamas). The Wifi was solid and all of the appliances were new and in good shape. We had very safe dockage for our boat. It was pretty much protected from all wind directions. We had a great trip and can't wait to get back. - Bill and Karen

“Birthday Trip!” I do believe this might have been the funnest trip I've ever taken in my life. Having every single thing just minutes away from you was such a delight and such a pleasure to not have to drive around constantly in the car. This community is gated and seems like a really fun place to actually buy a vacation home. Actually, while we were there we looked into it and might be doing the same thing that this particular person is offering on TripAdvisor as well! First of all, the house was just absolutely amazing... Bigger than my own home even. It was just me, my son and my husband and our house was absolutely humongous. We actually had thought we would have another family with us but it fell through. Everything was clean and perfect. There were many things like dishwasher, laptop, printer, hair dryer, straightener, toiletries, food! When we arrived, we already had some basic needs that were furnished To Us by the owners. It was such a treat to see that they really cared about us to furnish those things! There was a perfect screened in porch out the back over looking a little bit of a water marsh where we got to watch the birds everyday. The wildlife in our particular yard was extremely delightful. From frogs to lizards two birds two cranes we had an amazing time when we were relaxing at home. To my delight, there were also three swimming pools in the complex. One of the pools were in the middle of the community which was right down the street from our home, then there were two others inside the clubhouse which were also fantastic. We really enjoyed the hot tub and sitting underneath the shelter when it started to rain. Since I knew it would be very hot and we would be extremely exhausted, I asked for a maid service halfway through our vacation and I'm so happy I did. It was nice to come home after dinner to a 100% clean house with clean towels and everything perfect. I recommend that you get the service as the cleaning lady does an excellent job! The next time we booked our Walt Disney World vacation I will be using this home again without a doubt. Even though we stayed 7 days, we still did not get to see everything that we wanted to. Next time we come down we are doing 10 to 12 days for sure and cannot wait to come back to Vista Del Lago. I was really surprised on how many friends we made while we were there!! If you are looking for a family home that could easily sleep 7 people, please do yourself a favor and book this, you will be so glad that you did!!

The villa has a simply awesome setting with great views and experiences at your doorstep. Charlie greeted us with a huge smile while cleaning the grill which reassured us instantly that we had chosen the right place to stay. The villa itself is immaculate with Charlie ensuring we had everything we needed at anytime during our stay, including assisting with booking a tour. “Wonderful house in great location” What a wonderful, well equipped home in such a great location. Both in the house and surroundings there is so much room to sit, walk, run and explore! All our family met here, 3 couples and 17 month twin boys and it was ideal! The porch at the back was just perfect for everyone, a wonderful safe area for the boys to play and comfortable chairs for us all to relax without a mosquito in sight! Open living room and kitchen was easy to work in with a delightful dining room where we could eat in the evenings. Good size bedrooms and bathrooms, the master suite is incredible and huge! The house is very easy to baby proof also, we took a couple of extra safety gates to keep our little guys from getting into mischief! And I have to mention the peacocks, they just stroll around everywhere, surprised us once or twice, but are very friendly and amazing birds. The location is great, there is a huge Publix , Dunkin Donuts and plenty other stores close by. I think if you want a peaceful, relaxing weekend, week or long vacation this is the home to rent. Bill Clark, the owner, was there to meet us and show us round and was on hand if we had any questions. We really look forward to going back soon!
