“Sandos Playacar is Amazing!” My family - me, my husband and two kids - just returned from an amazing week at the Sandos Playacar in Playa Del Carmen. We had such a fantastic time and LOVED Sandos. Everything was great - the food, the staff, the facilities, the entertainment and more! Sandos is a truly beautiful resort - the hacienda was spacious, clean and had all the amenities we needed. The food at the al a carte restaurants was especially good, although we enjoyed the buffet breakfasts very much. The staff bent over backwards to help us with everything. The beach section was beautiful with plenty of comfortable lounge chairs, beds and hammocks to relax in. A short walk down the beach-2 minutes- brought us to a snorkeling area that was filled with tropical fish. The evening entertainment was top notch! All of our plans were booked through Georgette Flamm who provided detailed information and assistance every step of the way. She provided tons of info about the rooms and the resort, reserved transportation from the airport and gave us other valuable tips about our visit to Sandos. She responded to all of my questions immediately - I really was impressed how easy she made it! I would absolutely recommend Georgette Flamm and Sandos to anyone!!

“Excellent” The house was perfect for our families. Every thing was great. Except the sliding door lock is broken, the glass table is unstable if you have kids and the folding table in the kitchen doesn't have the hinges to be unfolded. I love the house and will return there and refer it to my friends without hesitation.

“Great cozy home away from home.” We stayed in the Orleans bungalo apartment on July 15-18. It felt like we were at home. The apartment had lots of character and charm. Loved sitting outside on the terrace watching the free entertainment across the street , was it called the ship wrecked bar? I especially loved beiing able to go to the back alley and washing clothes. (I hope it belonged to the cottages property, if not then oops!) We utilized the kitchen and the gas grill out back on the patio.Everything was great and this cottage had plenty of space for two families. We met my cousins from Texas in Flordia for a vaca. We drove from Oklahoma. The flat screens worked great. I have no complaints about this place. I just want to say to all you all snotty people leaving negative comments.... Quit complaining or find somewhere else to stay. What exactly do you think you are getting when you hear the word "cottages" it's not going to have a bell hop and a maid that cleans up your messes daily. Maybe some of you never lived in 100 year old homes and only used to a lavish lifestyle. Obviously you spent your time in doors. not us we were at the beach the majority of the day until almost 9pm every night. I enjoyed my stay there. It was a good 3 day stay for us despite the rainy weather. Yet we still had fun.

“Great Vacation” Gone Bananas is arguably the newest and nicest property on Lubbers. Lubbers is a short boat boat ride from Elbow Cay and the Hopetown Settlement. Lubbers doesn't have many amentities besides Lubbers Landing, Cracker P's, Down Deep Fish Store and Dee's Bread, but if you are comfortable handling a center console, it's a great place to be away from the crowd without being too far away. Both Patrick and austin are excellent proprieters at the two restaurants. Definitely rent a 20-23 ft boat (Albury recommended) for your entire stay so you can easily hop over to Tilloo, Hopetown or Nippers on Great Guana Cay. A stretch golf cart is provided and is perfect for checking out the island and taking things to and from the boat. The house has an easy to operate generator for the routine power outages (power outages are part of the charm of the Bahamas). The Wifi was solid and all of the appliances were new and in good shape. We had very safe dockage for our boat. It was pretty much protected from all wind directions. We had a great trip and can't wait to get back. - Bill and Karen

“Sooo relaxing” After visiting Jamaica 6 previous times, we finally decided to venture down to the south coast -- and we are so glad we did! This villa is perfect -- right across from a private beach where the water was sublime. Monica the cooked us delicious meals and cleaned the rooms while we were out during the day. Unlike in Negril, Ocho Rios, Montego Bay etc. we felt totally safe walking the streets of Treasure beach at night. The town is a real find -- unspoiled (so much so that there is no aTM that takes foreign cards, so get cash in Montego Bay) and it has a real local flavor. The locals are super friendly, and there are cute bars and restaurants with music at night. The beach across from the villa is fantastic -- a private little cove where we swam and hung out every day. The roads from Montego Bay to Treasure beach are not the best, so make sure to get a 4 wheel drive car, and make sure your spare tire and jack are intact -- changes are you may need it, as we did! Make sure to take outings to the falls, Black River, and the Pelican Bar and to walk the beach in Treasure Beach, stopping for a Red Stripe or two along the way.

“nice place” The Condo was very nice & very clean, we enjoyed our stay and the owner was very nice and also gave us details on good places to eat and things to see. St Simon Island was beautiful. The only thing was we thought we could fish on the place but was told we could not by another owner.The owner did give us a place on a pier just 1/2 mild from were we stayed to fish and it was beautiful. It would have been a little more convenient if there had be a TV up stairs since we did not care to watch most of the things our husbands watch, but other than these two things it was great.

“This area was easy to get around but the Trolley was a fun way to visit FMB areas . . .” Our 2 bedroom, 2 bath 6th floor unit had a view of the intercoastal waterway (from 1 bedroom) as well as the beach view from the master bedroom & our screened corner balcony. It was very clean and well stocked with dishes and cookware; the appliances worked well and were clean. They loved their bedroom with the extra long full size beds. The building is right on the beach for easy access with 2 grandchildren. Easy walk to the Bowditch Point Park and Times Square. We really enjoyed the Ostego Bay Foundation Marine Science Center. Highly recommended.

“Home away from home” This was an awesome place to stay. Dave and Bernie are very friendly and did everything they could to please us. If a problem developed, it was addressed almost immediately. The apartment is as well equipped as your own home. Ideal location across the street from bay, with the constant breeze you didn't have to use a.C. Easy cycle into town to pick up supplies. Our hosts were so pleasant for this three month vacation that we felt like we were staying with friends. A definite thumbs up!

“Heaven On Earth!” From the moment you step foot on this beautiful island paradise, you'll feel like you've been transported to your own little private world! Every amenity has been thought of from an outstanding outdoor kitchen, complete with state of the art grill, oven and microwave along with dinnerware, glassware etc. Not to mention the kitchen inside the house comes complete with all you need also. Even spices, just not food! The house itself is amazing and has a awesome stereo system so you can have music in the house, on the decks and on then beach! You can snorkel, swim, fish, sail, canoe, kayak, go tubing walk along the perfectely maintained tropical paths. From sunrise to sunset you day will be filled with beautiful scenerey, The view from the front porch is my favorite, I could sit there all day and have! This was our 7th trip and we had a extended stay of 10 glorious days, also our first trip with friends who loved it as much as we do! We've spent my birthday and our anniversary (back to back) here many of times and there is no place else we would rather be! The island is alive with hermit and land craps and Iguanna's and birds of all sorts. It's so funny to see a hermit crap go by with some sort of object he found as a shell. At night when you turn all the outside lights on it's like a magical transformantion! I can not say enough good things about Seabird Key. The owners and care takers do such a amazing job! Thank you for sharing this tropical paradise with us and we hope to be back again soon!
