“Week in paradise” First time to the island and the vacation was great especially with the accommodations at the Pink Sand Cottage. Perfect for the two of us and loved the views from inside and outside the house of nothing but beach and water. I'm not sure how it is other times of the year but almost every day we were the only ones on the beach. Maybe just timing but it felt as though we were the only ones on the island at times and having the peace and quiet was much needed. Thanks to Ken and adele for a great week and hope to be back soon! “Peaceful, homey cabin on bay near Gulf beaches” We loved this cabin! I hung out on the wayside dock with a crane next door while watching beautiful sunsets. The Gulf beaches are close by, easy to access, and not crowded. The cabin reminds me of what Gulf Shores used to be like before all the development on the beach. This is a wonderful site for a family vacation.

“A private beach to watch sunrise and sunset.” We were at Cayman cottage this past February and our only mistake was staying such a short time (5 nights). It was so beautiful and restful. The property is very private and well stocked. It was clean and organized, with a large and airy living room, eating area, kitchen and very comfortable bed. Just outside there is a pleasant eating area and hammock. We loved sitting on the beach to watch sunrise or sunset. We also enjoyed snorkeling right in front of the property, which felt very safe and private. Sue was very pleasant and so helpful. We found that we could manage without having rented a car; we were able to walk to stores and restaurants and walk to rent bikes at the Scuba Shack. When we return we may rent a car for a few days to explore the Island more; some of the bike rides felt very long given the single speed bikes and the head winds. We are also tempted to return and learn to scuba dive. Sue's property is ideal for a couple, and also for two or three friends, or a family of three. Wherever we ventured each day, we were always so glad to come home to Cayman cottage and settle in for the evening. We did not grill but everything was there if we had wanted to do so. It felt like we had our own private place on Cayman Brac although we were visitors. We hope to return in the future.

“Best home away from home at the beach.” I spent a lot of time searching for a bungalow at the beach and my expectations were surpassed when I opened the door! The owners were thoughtful in design, layout and furnishings to provide a laid back experience at the beach. I wished I could have stayed forever - it was that nice. I especially enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen which included colorful dishes to match the colorful walls and great blue floor! Best of all - location - you can walk everywhere as you are right in the historic Bridge Street neighborhood.

“What a great getaway location to relax and view the secluded private beach and gorgeous ocean view!!!” We stayed in the Lobster Shack which is a cozy clean bungalow which offered a salt water pool with an awesome view of the Gulf waters. Liz is great making sure our needs were met while addressing unexpected refrigerator problems. She is quick to reply contacting a repairman to resolve the issue. Canines are welcome. I miss the relaxation and calmness of the setting yet on Gulf Blvd there are activities to meet everyone's interests. Thank you Liz and love your puppies.❤

“Relaxing place to call "home" and perfect location!” Leah and Roland were awesome! The home was stocked with everything we needed to cook a meal, and had a great deck to relax after a day at the beach. The bedrooms were so comfortable too! I loved the decor and the location. “Awesome-perfect in every way” We cannot say enough possitive things about this home and the hosts. We have come to Tarpon for 30 years but this is the first time we ve used flipkey and we will only use flipkey from now on. From the welcoming hug to the perfect ammenities throughout, you could not beat this offering. Location is beautiful and perfect to access anything. The hosts were so nice and they had paid attention to so many details, we were overwhelmed. They had lots of suggestions and a great notebook filled with menus and things to do. Plus hints on specials, fishing and the area. As we ended our trip they even greeted us with a weather report--there was a storm headed our way. Thank you both for making sure this was the best time we ve ever had in this, our favorite, Florida location.

“Paradise found at The Cozy Cottage on Lake Travis!!!” Speaking for our entire family, I want to thank you for an amazing four day vacation/experience. Upon arriving at Living Waters, we were immediately drawn into the peaceful, inspirational environment that encompasses the "compound". "The Cottage" was perfect for the seven of us. After we arrived, we sat out on the back porch to admire our surroundings. Bethany arrived to give us some wonderful advice as to what to see and do in and around Spicewood. Her charm and enthusiasm immediately got us all excited about our next few days of activities. Our next activities were from Bethany and Travis's recommendations: visits to the Stone House and Spicewood Wineries and swimming at Krause Springs. I saved the best recommendation for last: The Friday night Tomato Happy Hour with Kathleen. We met so many wonderful "regulars" as well as the other two couples who were staying at Living Waters. It was a memorable experience. Kathleen is an amazing person. After I read her little book that was upstairs in the cottage, I couldn't wait to talk with her. She bonded instantly with our family and the children were taken in by her warmth and friendliness. Little Haynie hadn't come home by the time we left so Kathleen invited us to come back the next morning, bright and early, so that we could meet him. We set our alarms for 6:30 am and we were not disappointed. My grandson Evan (age 10) said that petting a deer was one of the most wonderful experiences he's ever had. We all decided that we wanted to have a pet deer of our own!!! Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to experience life in that little corner of heaven called Living Waters. “Perfect Getaway!!” The Cabin was perfect and equipped with everything my husband and I needed!! George was the perfect host, helping us arrange a rental car, fishing guide and great local sights, including an absolutely beautiful secluded beach that we had to ourselves for the day. We enjoyed taking the kayaks out to explore. He was there to answer any questions and meet our needs but we also had plenty of privacy. We plan to return (with our kids) this winter and stay in the larger house. Even though we were able to find most of the items we needed, We will send food ahead next time because it is so expensive on the island and the choice of meats is so limited.

“Shangri La” This is a beautiful spot. The cottage itself was very clean and lovely. The sheets were excellent, and the kitchen had every cooking utensil needed, along with heavy bottomed cookware (excellent for cooking that cracked corn for grits!) Sara and Dan are very knowledgeable, and generous with said knowledge. The beach is a short walk and is gorgeous, and quiet. No complaints whatsoever!

“A "Must" Place to Visit!” This new cottage is absolutely wonderful. It is very open and at the same time so cozy in a beautiful country atmosphere. The inside decor was unique and beautiful with a big flat screen TV over the mantel and wonderful kitchen. My husband, grandson (17), and son-in-law caught beautiful, huge bass in the lake behind the house, but released them all. If you ever get the opportunity and want a beautiful relaxing experience, this is a "must" place to visit! Jim and Paula archer were wonderful hosts and very helpful in every way.
