“Week in paradise” First time to the island and the vacation was great especially with the accommodations at the Pink Sand Cottage. Perfect for the two of us and loved the views from inside and outside the house of nothing but beach and water. I'm not sure how it is other times of the year but almost every day we were the only ones on the beach. Maybe just timing but it felt as though we were the only ones on the island at times and having the peace and quiet was much needed. Thanks to Ken and adele for a great week and hope to be back soon! “Peaceful, homey cabin on bay near Gulf beaches” We loved this cabin! I hung out on the wayside dock with a crane next door while watching beautiful sunsets. The Gulf beaches are close by, easy to access, and not crowded. The cabin reminds me of what Gulf Shores used to be like before all the development on the beach. This is a wonderful site for a family vacation.

“A private beach to watch sunrise and sunset.” We were at Cayman cottage this past February and our only mistake was staying such a short time (5 nights). It was so beautiful and restful. The property is very private and well stocked. It was clean and organized, with a large and airy living room, eating area, kitchen and very comfortable bed. Just outside there is a pleasant eating area and hammock. We loved sitting on the beach to watch sunrise or sunset. We also enjoyed snorkeling right in front of the property, which felt very safe and private. Sue was very pleasant and so helpful. We found that we could manage without having rented a car; we were able to walk to stores and restaurants and walk to rent bikes at the Scuba Shack. When we return we may rent a car for a few days to explore the Island more; some of the bike rides felt very long given the single speed bikes and the head winds. We are also tempted to return and learn to scuba dive. Sue's property is ideal for a couple, and also for two or three friends, or a family of three. Wherever we ventured each day, we were always so glad to come home to Cayman cottage and settle in for the evening. We did not grill but everything was there if we had wanted to do so. It felt like we had our own private place on Cayman Brac although we were visitors. We hope to return in the future.

“Awesome-perfect in every way” We cannot say enough possitive things about this home and the hosts. We have come to Tarpon for 30 years but this is the first time we ve used flipkey and we will only use flipkey from now on. From the welcoming hug to the perfect ammenities throughout, you could not beat this offering. Location is beautiful and perfect to access anything. The hosts were so nice and they had paid attention to so many details, we were overwhelmed. They had lots of suggestions and a great notebook filled with menus and things to do. Plus hints on specials, fishing and the area. As we ended our trip they even greeted us with a weather report--there was a storm headed our way. Thank you both for making sure this was the best time we ve ever had in this, our favorite, Florida location.

“Paradise found at The Cozy Cottage on Lake Travis!!!” Speaking for our entire family, I want to thank you for an amazing four day vacation/experience. Upon arriving at Living Waters, we were immediately drawn into the peaceful, inspirational environment that encompasses the "compound". "The Cottage" was perfect for the seven of us. After we arrived, we sat out on the back porch to admire our surroundings. Bethany arrived to give us some wonderful advice as to what to see and do in and around Spicewood. Her charm and enthusiasm immediately got us all excited about our next few days of activities. Our next activities were from Bethany and Travis's recommendations: visits to the Stone House and Spicewood Wineries and swimming at Krause Springs. I saved the best recommendation for last: The Friday night Tomato Happy Hour with Kathleen. We met so many wonderful "regulars" as well as the other two couples who were staying at Living Waters. It was a memorable experience. Kathleen is an amazing person. After I read her little book that was upstairs in the cottage, I couldn't wait to talk with her. She bonded instantly with our family and the children were taken in by her warmth and friendliness. Little Haynie hadn't come home by the time we left so Kathleen invited us to come back the next morning, bright and early, so that we could meet him. We set our alarms for 6:30 am and we were not disappointed. My grandson Evan (age 10) said that petting a deer was one of the most wonderful experiences he's ever had. We all decided that we wanted to have a pet deer of our own!!! Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to experience life in that little corner of heaven called Living Waters. “Very nice stay” We stayed at the cottage for 10 nights and it was exactly what we were looking for: quiet, comfortable beds, and many great night's of sleep. Not to mention the kayaking in front of the house was loads of fun too. The host, Valerie, is very accommodating and a fountain of information. This is the opposite of an all-inclusive catered vacation place. Here it is do-it yourself on your own schedule. We will go back again.

“A "Must" Place to Visit!” This new cottage is absolutely wonderful. It is very open and at the same time so cozy in a beautiful country atmosphere. The inside decor was unique and beautiful with a big flat screen TV over the mantel and wonderful kitchen. My husband, grandson (17), and son-in-law caught beautiful, huge bass in the lake behind the house, but released them all. If you ever get the opportunity and want a beautiful relaxing experience, this is a "must" place to visit! Jim and Paula archer were wonderful hosts and very helpful in every way.

“Best New Years Ever!” We started out the new year in your home and what a great start it was. We have never had the priviledge of being so close to the beach for a vacation! We felt so safe and private. We have 7 littles and the two youngest would even run around naked sometimes. In the chaos of the season on this island, we felt like we were the only ones here when we stayed at your home, you provided everything we needed and the your gardener was very friendly. We saw dolphins daily if not multiple times a day! A special treat . . . dolphin pups with their mothers frequently visited. The beach was virtually private. The owners were very accomidating to our special circumstances. Thank you for that.

“Perfect get away” I traveled with my two children, 11 and 14 years old, and stayed in the Gecko cottage for a week. It is a beautiful setting overlooking the cost line. The bird life is full and you can spend hours just sitting on the porch. We even saw monkeys near by. The cottage is simple, peaceful and has all you need. The owners are wonderful, welcoming and helpful. We walked back from Montezuma once but the road back is quite steep so often took a taxi which are expensive for the distance. There is lots to do in the area and it is nice to be out of town and have private space. Just taking a walk or going for run right from the cottage was terrific. Gecko is right next to the owner's house but it feels private and they were generous in letting us use their pool which is fabulous, overlooking the coast. This is wonderful place, and was perfect for the three of us as a family. Loved it!
