“Beautiful and Comfortable Villa Levantes” Our adult family of five’s stay in Villa Levantes was excellent. The villa is like the pictures but much more beautiful in real life. The spectacular views from the villa decks and windows of the mountains and Nopigia beach were breathtaking. We enjoyed the rural setting with its very clean air, the olive groves, the goats on the mountain and the sheep and lambs romping in the field below. As well the landscaping around the villas is cleverly done so you are surrounded by beauty everywhere. The villa itself is well designed with lots of private spaces. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need for serious cooking. The bedrooms, living room and kitchen are all spacious, very comfortable and well designed. Our family felt at home immediately. Haris, Stefanos and their mother welcomed us to the villa with an amazing selection of Cretan delights of fruit, wine, beverages, pastries, breads etc. They also decorated the villa for Christmas and brought special homemade dessert on Christmas day so it was extra special to be there over the holidays. They are the most considerate of hosts and made our stay the best possible. We hope we will be lucky enough to come back again sometime. Sharon, George, Arlen, Adrian, and Giuliana

“Most fantastic villa!!!” We had a wonderful week at Villa Clio. Everything was just perfect. Stunning sea view. Very romantic to see the sun go down over the sea every night. Fantastic pool. Extremely clean and excellent service from the owner. We really did not want to leave the place at all to go to Chania or the nearby most wonderful beaches of Crete. “Contemplation, elegance and functionality” Villa Ioanna is an unique and beautiful villa with a bright, simple, clean and modern interior. It is situated outside the villa Plaka, in a peaceful place surrounded by olive trees and with a stonishing view to the Almyrida bay and the White mountains (Lefka Ori). The house has a delicious swimming pool with very clean and soft water. The garden is breathtaking and smells from herbs and sweet flowers. The house and the garden appeal to our senses and invite to contemplation and pleasure. The house has everything one needs. We especially appreciated the air-conditoin, the moskito-nets in front of the doors and windows, the shower soap and the washing maschine. The house was cleaned twice a weak - a great luxury! The contact with the owners of the house was excellent and we met great hospitality. Mikhalis met us in Plaka village and took us to the villa, and George and Kostas helped us with car-rental and all other information we needed. They replied very quickly and friendly to our enquiries on e-mail. We were three families in the house, six adults and three kids (6-9). Some of us went to the beach by car, others appreciated the 20-30 minutes walk down to the centre of Almyrida. We had wonderful dinners at the many restaurants in Plaka, only a 10 minutes walk from Ioanna. The residence is also a nice starting point for day-trips to Chania, Samaria, Plakias and other great places on Crete. We all fell in love with VIlla Ioanna and we wish that all visitors in the future will take good care of the house. Karianne Skovholt
