“Thanksgiving Getaway” Beautiful location and our pet was able to come along. We enjoyed the beach, fire pit and weather. The one negative is that our unit was very close to a busy road.

“A wonderful place to be!” Our rental was right on the pool/beach. It was perfect! Gorgeous pool and the beach - beautiful, private - everything you could want. The cottages were spacious, clean and kitschy. They had everything you needed. You could tell good people stayed there as everything was well kept and stocked. The owner, Liz, was lovely and even though we had no pets, every pup there was well behaved and everyone was respectful of the rules. The people staying at the other cottages were wonderful and had stayed there before. Obviously Liz knows what she’s doing . My parents also stayed with us and both of them loved the place. The beds were very comfortable which doesn’t always happen in rentals. Hoping to see you next year! Cheers!

“Perfect Vacation Relaxation Spot” The view from the room and balcony was gorgeous. Sitting on the balcony each morning sipping my coffee was heavenly. All of the amenities were close to the room and just short walks away. The property itself was well maintained and quiet while still being family friendly. The room was comfortable and a great home base at the end of our daily jaunts. Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Clearwater were very easy drives from the Inn. I can't wait to visit again.

“Paradise Home.” We stayed at the paradise home in October of this year 2013. it was absolutely beautiful! the house was very spacious and the fishing here is absolutely fantastic! we caught many largemouth bass and huge blue gill. the home was very clean and had very modern features. there is a large screen TV in the living room and a fireplace. the stereo in the house is hooked up to the decks outside speakers so you can listen to music if you're sitting on the deck and playing cards or just enjoying the view. the nature trail walk around the lake is a must!!! It is so beautiful and you see everything from beautiful flowers to wild life. we will definitely be going back again! they have 4 beaches to swim or sun at, and each house has its own row boat and paddle boat. there is also a Jacuzzi off of the master bedroom that hold about six people with beautiful views threw the large windows of the lake and property. I guarantee if you stay here you will come back every year! the hosts are very courteous and friendly and have everything taken care of ahead of time. we went into town for the Friday night fish fry and it was fantastic! it was called the teepee super club. we are already planning are trip to go up next year!

“Perfect Spur of the Moment Getaway” We had a beautiful weekend at the cabin. We booked last minute, but Jenny was so helpful and informative that everything went as smooth as if we had been planning for months! The cabin was clean and warm and beautifully decorated. The property was everything we hoped for with hiking trails and a tranquil pond. Thank you for a perfect, quiet, relaxing weekend!!!

“Awesome-perfect in every way” We cannot say enough possitive things about this home and the hosts. We have come to Tarpon for 30 years but this is the first time we ve used flipkey and we will only use flipkey from now on. From the welcoming hug to the perfect ammenities throughout, you could not beat this offering. Location is beautiful and perfect to access anything. The hosts were so nice and they had paid attention to so many details, we were overwhelmed. They had lots of suggestions and a great notebook filled with menus and things to do. Plus hints on specials, fishing and the area. As we ended our trip they even greeted us with a weather report--there was a storm headed our way. Thank you both for making sure this was the best time we ve ever had in this, our favorite, Florida location.

“Relaxing!” Group of friends headed out of town for the weekend. We had a wonderful time. Close by to Wildcat Mountain State Park, clean hot tub, and full kitchen for making homemade pizzas and pancakes :) Definitely consider Birch Lake Getaway if you are in need of a winter escape.

“Perfect Family Vacation Spot!” We scoured this and other websites for two months looking for the perfect spot for our first vacation as a young family of four... and we found it at this lovely home! Around every corner was exciting new activities for both kids and adults. At the end of each day of our stay, my three-year-old and one-year-old each passed out with exhaustion after a day of playing at the beach, marveling at nearby waterfalls, exploring the lake via kayaks and canoes, and playing with the numerous toys and books throughout the house. And when they did pass out, we adults got to enjoy grilled steaks and a nice bottle of wine overlooking beautiful sunsets over the lake from the second floor deck. I think my three-year-old said it best: "I love the lake house daddy; can we come back again and again?" Indeed. Great owners as well -- thorough, clean, and responsive.

“Wonderful house in great location” What a wonderful, well equipped home in such a great location. Both in the house and surroundings there is so much room to sit, walk, run and explore! All our family met here, 3 couples and 17 month twin boys and it was ideal! The porch at the back was just perfect for everyone, a wonderful safe area for the boys to play and comfortable chairs for us all to relax without a mosquito in sight! Open living room and kitchen was easy to work in with a delightful dining room where we could eat in the evenings. Good size bedrooms and bathrooms, the master suite is incredible and huge! The house is very easy to baby proof also, we took a couple of extra safety gates to keep our little guys from getting into mischief! And I have to mention the peacocks, they just stroll around everywhere, surprised us once or twice, but are very friendly and amazing birds. The location is great, there is a huge Publix , Dunkin Donuts and plenty other stores close by. I think if you want a peaceful, relaxing weekend, week or long vacation this is the home to rent. Bill Clark, the owner, was there to meet us and show us round and was on hand if we had any questions. We really look forward to going back soon!

“Best Vacation!” I asked each of my kids to sum our stay at O'Cottage and they each yelled "Best vacation!" My wife agreed! It was great to take a break from the whirlwind of kids' activites to spend a week here in peace and quiet. The location on the lake is easily one of the best. We loved waking up to the water and going to bed after the campfire dwindled. The house is spacious and tidy and the outdoor shower is a treat. The owner is quick to respond to questions and the booking process was easy. Would I recommend this place to a friend? No! I want it all for myself! “Wonderful beach condo with amazing ocean views” I stayed at Audrey and Eric's condo during Hangout Music Fest, and it was a comfortable place to sleep, eat, get work done, and enjoy the view of the ocean. “A thoroughly enjoyably experience!” Dave was wonderful to work with and offered advise on where some of the best areas to kayak might be found... saw several ospreys and other wildlife. The cottage has all new appliances and was clean. Sitting on the waterfront in the morning with coffee and the afternoon with a toddy was a great way to start and end each day.

“Perfect for Beach Lovers” The views from this Condo are amazing. You cannot get better access to the beach!!! Everything was clean and well done aesthetically. We enjoyed our time, especially my husband who loves the Atlantic Ocean, thoroughly. Onsite parking is a great asset as is the elevator to the 4th floor. “Beach Paradise Getaway with Restaurant and Marina a short flight from U.S.” We made a last minute reservation for six days in early February, and had very good experiences both with the accommodating suite owner and the resort staff. Enjoyed quiet and reading time on our balcony and the beautiful beach, and also long walks in the area. Good selection of complimentary bikes and kayaks for the guests, and also a well-designed marina for sailors and motor-boaters--especially impressed with the ample maneuvering room for the slips.

“Sunset Dreams - Tropical Paradise” What a wonderful place! We just returned and we miss it very much already. As my wife puts it, "it was like being in another world!" She's become an overnight ornithologist and marine biologist. The owners went well above the standard of what a normal property rental would be. From furnishings, to decor, to kitchen utensils, and appliances; they blow every rental property we've ever seen right out of the water. The home is immaculate. And the island itself has endless things to do. We've already booked for next year!
