“Good break” Two friends and ourselves had a very pleasant stay in June, weather reasonably good considering this summer. Cottage was very clean with all the extras you could wish for. Owners very nice but did not see them after taking over the property as they were off on holiday the following day. Cottage handy for attractions and a nice place to return to at the end of the day.

“excellent break” Stayed in Honey Bee in early 2013. The property is lovely, spotlessly clean and well presented. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners - even digging our car out of the snow! Would go again without question.

“ideal location and facilities.” A three generation family: we all enjoyed our stay in Sterling House. Four bedrooms and two bathrooms fully utilised as well as excellent kitchen facilities. Parking was not a problem and the garden very useful. Also useful for local shop and pubs.

“Great Week in the Vale of York” Great accomodation, friendly welcome and the hot tube was a big hit with the family. Well appointed and nicely presented self catering cottage. Although the owners house is adjoining there were no issues with privacy - nice rural setting. Laundry facilities provided so great for families. Malton only 7 miles away so easy access to supermarket and local shops. Location's great as it's handy for York, the coast, Dalby Forrest and North Yorkshires Moors - wish we'd had more time to explore as we found that there was just so much to do. Highlights of the week were: hiring mountain bikes in Dalby Forrest, and sightseeing in York Only slight down side was that there was no blind on the velux window in the downstairs (3rd) bedroom. So it was just as well that our son gets up at the crack of dawn anyway. Would thoroughly recommend this cottage as it was also great value for money.

“A brilliant place to stay” Everything was just right for an excellent family holiday. Clean, the beds were comfortable, there was plenty to entertain the kids and it was in a good position for getting to a range of venues. Just don't eat at the village pub-had to be the worst food and least friendly waitress-although the beer and landlord werte good.

“very nice cottage in a nice area,hot tub was a big bonus.” Everything from the start to the finish was 1st class,the booking,mine hosts were very helpful,and the area was nicely placed for all the major attractions,which were reachable within the hour. A must for everyone is to visit beverley cathedral and york minster, as well as visiting bridlington,whitby and staithes to name a few. The cottage was 1st class in everyway.

“Great standard comfortable cottage, lovely facilities, friendly” Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in maris cottage. Accommodation was great , very clean and comfortable nothing to fault. Twenty minute walk to lovely beach and then half hour walk along beach into old Filey. Swimming pool and steam room on site excellent , also tennis courts, cafe, pub and chemist. All staff very friendly and helpful. Liked everything about the holiday.

“Fabulous weekend in the most amazing house” From my initial enquiry through to leaving on the Monday morning, it was all so 'easy'. No problems, no need for questions, no clarification of anything, Andrew has absolutely everything covered. When we arrived, the house looked very unassuming but once inside we ran around like schoolchildren, with excitement. The rooms are huge which was ideal for a group of 10, the kitchen was perfect and large enough for too many cooks to get involved in the preparation of the meals and the large lounge is bright, airy and just beautiful. The location of the house is ideal for either a quiet weekend playing games on the lawn or venturing out to nearby Scarborough, Bridlington or Filey and I have to say that the butchers in Hunmanby is outstanding. Liked best ... EVERYTHING Liked least .... LEAVING I would have no hesitation in recommending this property.
