“Sandos Playacar is Amazing!” My family - me, my husband and two kids - just returned from an amazing week at the Sandos Playacar in Playa Del Carmen. We had such a fantastic time and LOVED Sandos. Everything was great - the food, the staff, the facilities, the entertainment and more! Sandos is a truly beautiful resort - the hacienda was spacious, clean and had all the amenities we needed. The food at the al a carte restaurants was especially good, although we enjoyed the buffet breakfasts very much. The staff bent over backwards to help us with everything. The beach section was beautiful with plenty of comfortable lounge chairs, beds and hammocks to relax in. A short walk down the beach-2 minutes- brought us to a snorkeling area that was filled with tropical fish. The evening entertainment was top notch! All of our plans were booked through Georgette Flamm who provided detailed information and assistance every step of the way. She provided tons of info about the rooms and the resort, reserved transportation from the airport and gave us other valuable tips about our visit to Sandos. She responded to all of my questions immediately - I really was impressed how easy she made it! I would absolutely recommend Georgette Flamm and Sandos to anyone!!

“Can't wait to go back!” The house was gorgeous! We went with 2 other couples and 2 teenagers - it was perfect for our group. We loved the decks on different levels - our group was able to spread out nicely in the house. The pictures of the inside of the house don't do it justice - the furnishings were very nice and the house is well stocked with games, beach bags and a cooler. And the beds were very comfy! We also loved how one of the bathrooms had a door to the outside so you didn't bring in a bunch of sand every time you used the bathroom The house was easy to book and the owners were extremely helpful and answered all of our questions pre-trip The beach is lovely. We had a great time beach combing and watching the pelicans. Maria and Bernadino were great. We had them cook dinner for us one night and it was amazing. They set the table for us, cleaned up and packed up leftovers. There was enough food left over for dinner the next night. We loved Tulum. We were in Mexico at the height of spring break, yet we had the beach to ourselves. The kids loved Matinee cenote and we arranged a snorkle/dive trip with the dive shop at the end of the road. 2 people in our group are divers, but the rest of the group wanted to snorkel. They were able to accommodate the entire group and we had a great time

“great location” the Office staff was courteous and welcomed me upon arrival, and showed me around. The room was clean and had a coffee maker and small refrigerator in addition to tv. Within a few steps of my door I was at the fresh water pool, a few more steps and I was on the most beautiful beach in the area! The hotel staff were attentive and friendly. The onsite restaurant was a great plus, allowing me to spend as much time on the beach or diving as I wanted, and not driving around finding restaurants. The food was fantastic! All in all, this was a great place to spend a week on the ocean, relaxing.

“Just what we're looking for...” My Boyfriend and I were looking for a small intimate place to stay for my Birthday. And we found it at The Villas DeRosa! We stayed in a 1bd beach front condo over looking the amazing ocean below. The service was amazing! The staff is friendly and helpful and the food was fantastic! We love akumal and wouldn't stay anywhere else. Don't let the dirt road off the highway that leads to the resort fool you..it truly is a diamond in the rough. We're looking forward to our next visit.

“Great beach experience with all the conveniences.” Great location in akumal on the beach. Accommodations were spacious and prices excellent. They have a cook who will deliver meals to your own dinning room at very reasonable costs and the food is very good. The accommodations are not plush but very clean and all of the people who work there are muy simpatico.

“Year # 6” I recently returned from the Riviera Maya and my 6th year stay at Villas DeRosa Resort. In my reasonably priced dive package they included: airport transfers, a comfortable and clean ocean front condo, and an abundance of good food, transportation to the dive sites and some great dive guides. “Quit Incredible! Best stay of all in Cozumel” This house is really a treat in every way. The rooms are filled with light and air with gardens in view out each window. We spend a week here with a marvelous host named Marco. Not only was the house well equipped with every thing we needed it also offered a feel of serenity not found often in a renal home. The pool is completely private...no need for a swimming suit! We enjoyed the terrace just outside each bedroom. Each room had its own bathroom also. There are 2 bedroom in the main house with the 3rd bedroom offered in a small cottage located on the other side of the pool. The cottage gives a couple or individual real privacy and is just lovely. Marco is such a unique person offering his guest kindness and a real concern for your happiness. He is articulate, well traveled, well read, spirited with zeal for living. One could not find a better friend. He has a real sense of what a traveler needs for a perfect stay. Easy walk to several restaurants and just 2 blocks for the water, very safe feel to this neighborhood also. I for one will come back! I would not hesitate to recommend this home to any one, even those with the most discerning taste and experience.
