“A week in paradise” I now know what paradise is like, having spent 7 days at Palma Real, Neville Gardners wonderful condo, facilities amazing, location truly wonderful. “Great Place!” My husband and I, had a great time at this condo. It was well maintained and perfect for our family. Having the pool close by on the ground floor was perfect for my kids and Claudia at the reception was incredibly helpful. I really appreciated all the help Tony provided prior to the trip. “Sandos Playacar is Amazing!” My family - me, my husband and two kids - just returned from an amazing week at the Sandos Playacar in Playa Del Carmen. We had such a fantastic time and LOVED Sandos. Everything was great - the food, the staff, the facilities, the entertainment and more! Sandos is a truly beautiful resort - the hacienda was spacious, clean and had all the amenities we needed. The food at the al a carte restaurants was especially good, although we enjoyed the buffet breakfasts very much. The staff bent over backwards to help us with everything. The beach section was beautiful with plenty of comfortable lounge chairs, beds and hammocks to relax in. A short walk down the beach-2 minutes- brought us to a snorkeling area that was filled with tropical fish. The evening entertainment was top notch! All of our plans were booked through Georgette Flamm who provided detailed information and assistance every step of the way. She provided tons of info about the rooms and the resort, reserved transportation from the airport and gave us other valuable tips about our visit to Sandos. She responded to all of my questions immediately - I really was impressed how easy she made it! I would absolutely recommend Georgette Flamm and Sandos to anyone!!

“My new favorite place” I was skeptical when I first saw it and google mapped it. However, I went with it anyway and I'M so glad I did. My wife and I went for a week and it was so great to snorkel in peace, relax in peace and go into town and visit the real mexico when we wanted to. We did many different things off the property that were close and amazing. Horseback riding, site seeing and swimming in some Ceynotes. (I'll let you look that one up) The hosts were very nice and helpful. The place was very clean and I've been there twice now. I drove from Cancun the first time - which wasnt bad. Nice to see Mexico on the drive down. On my 2nd visit, I chartered a small 6 passenger plane because my time was so limited - that worked out really well also. I'm not much of a swimmer, but a few minutes on the beach I had the snorkeling figured out and I could have done it all day, everyday. The coral makes the shoreline so fun to snorkel in and around. I would recommend this place to couples and families with children. I've been there with both and we had an amazing time with and without our kids.

“Love Nah Uxibal!!!” I have just returned home from a wonderful time at Nah Uxibal in Mexico, it is by far one of the most relaxing and wonderful experiences. I swam and snorkeled every day and spent time on the white sandy beaches reading. Nah Uxibal is one of my favorite places on earth, I always feel well taken care of and so relaxed. Victoria and Javier are wonderful care takers always available for questions or help with what ever is needed and so very kind. The property and the rooms are cleaned every day and the property is well tended to and very secure. The kitchen is stocked when we arrive and the rooms were clean and set up very nicely. This trip we hired a chef recommended by Jeannette and he was totally amazing, cooking us healthy yummy meals and such a good spirit and it was quite reasonably priced! I would highly recommend it with large groups. I have visited Nah Uxibal three times and it always has a wonderful feeling of beauty and comfort. Jeannette and Skip have created an amazing magical place in Nah Uxibal. I look forward to returning to Nah Uxibal!! it is surely hard to leave. I spent a day in Tulum shopping for gifts for friends back home and it is so easy to get there and back either driving or taking the little shuttle bus from the main road. Every time I visit I always visit the ruins either in Tulum or Coba this time I visited Ek Balam which was also amazing. I also really enjoy swimming in the cynote that are all over the Tulum area. But my favorite time spent in Mexico is at Nah Uxibal and spending time in the water swimming, snorkeling or kayaking or reading on the beach and not going anywhere. The beaches are well kept and groomed. As the days pass relaxation sets in and the worries of life melt away and it regenerates the spirit. Thank you Nah Uxibal and Jeannette, Skip, Javier and Victoria!!! I want all my loved ones to experience such beauty and regeneration of spirit!!!

“Super fabulous, very happy family...” The property and villa is exceptional. Very well decorated and has the best vibe for entertaining. Mimi was our concierge and was very helpful and welcoming. This was a surprise trip for my family. All they knew before hand was cancun airport. I had pre arranged night time chef service. That was a+. we had 15 people who were all accomadated for at ease. Anna Paulo was our main chef. She made beautiful desserts! We also had Martin as a daytime bartender, he made sure everyone had a beverage from the dock to the pool to the garden. Good stuff :) The family enjoyed taking the golf carts into the dolphin area with shops and stores. We rented them for the week. The villa had them ready when we arrived in the driveway. Best thing ever was the night entertainment. Worth every penny . Water drums and fire dancers. 1 hour show. So amazing. You feel the drums and the water color splashing about with heat from the fire ...it's quite impressive, must see! I'm already making plans for the next trip back. We felt safe. Had everything a large group needed. Very accomadating. Playa Del Carmen was pretty close by by taxi. Bring water shoes if you go in the ocean. My next trip will include a tequila tasting at villa for one of the nights and a day trip to the salt caves and everything else the same :) Super Fabulous Vacation @ Hacienda Del Mar!! “Great beach experience with all the conveniences.” Great location in akumal on the beach. Accommodations were spacious and prices excellent. They have a cook who will deliver meals to your own dinning room at very reasonable costs and the food is very good. The accommodations are not plush but very clean and all of the people who work there are muy simpatico.

“Paradise!” Our two families stayed at Casa San Francisco for one week (4 adults and kids 19, 16, 14, 12 and 12). The house was perfect for our vacation! There was enough room for everyone in this beautiful house and being right on the beach was heaven. Everyone in the group swam in the pool and ocean, and many went kayaking and snorkeling in our 'back yard.' Beach towels are included at the house, as well as toiletries like you would get in a hotel. Although many places to see where close-by, some of the best time that we spent was just hanging around the villa, reading in the hammock, relaxing on the beach or swimming. The location of the house is great to get to many attractions, most only 1/2 hour or so away. Some of the activities we did (other than relaxing at the villa) were snorkeling at Yal-ku lagoon, visitng ruins at Tulum and Coba, shopping in akumal, Tulum and Playa del Carmen, visiting Hidden Worlds and Xcaret parks, and visiting other beaches (Akumal, Tulum, others). Guille (the staff manager) was very attentive and helpful with suggestions on places to go or things to do. Some in our group were worried about security given the news from other (far-away) parts of Mexico, but we felt very safe at the villa with the security provided. Marcia from akumal Direct Reservations was extremely helpful in pre-trip advice and answering our many questions about the place. It's always a little nerve-wracking preparing to go somewhere you have never visited, but she helped put us at ease. One thing we did not do but I wished we had done was to have dinner cooked for us one night as this was a highlight for others who had stayed at the house (as written in the guestbook). I highly recommend Villa San Francisco for a family or large group vacation.

“Can't wait to go back!” The house was gorgeous! We went with 2 other couples and 2 teenagers - it was perfect for our group. We loved the decks on different levels - our group was able to spread out nicely in the house. The pictures of the inside of the house don't do it justice - the furnishings were very nice and the house is well stocked with games, beach bags and a cooler. And the beds were very comfy! We also loved how one of the bathrooms had a door to the outside so you didn't bring in a bunch of sand every time you used the bathroom The house was easy to book and the owners were extremely helpful and answered all of our questions pre-trip The beach is lovely. We had a great time beach combing and watching the pelicans. Maria and Bernadino were great. We had them cook dinner for us one night and it was amazing. They set the table for us, cleaned up and packed up leftovers. There was enough food left over for dinner the next night. We loved Tulum. We were in Mexico at the height of spring break, yet we had the beach to ourselves. The kids loved Matinee cenote and we arranged a snorkle/dive trip with the dive shop at the end of the road. 2 people in our group are divers, but the rest of the group wanted to snorkel. They were able to accommodate the entire group and we had a great time

“Year # 6” I recently returned from the Riviera Maya and my 6th year stay at Villas DeRosa Resort. In my reasonably priced dive package they included: airport transfers, a comfortable and clean ocean front condo, and an abundance of good food, transportation to the dive sites and some great dive guides. “Best Beach on the Yucatan!” Great condo right on the pristine white sandy beach with awesome snorkeling right out in front of the condo. #6 unit has a large wrap-around deck for lounging or dining, wi-fi, comfortable beds. Excellent housekeeping, managerial and grounds staff. Security gate attendant 24/7. Lots of fun things to do in the area including Myan ruins, Xcaret Park, Xplor, Hidden Worlds,Plya de Carmel, ferry to Cozumel. Good grocery store in Tulum and local market in akumal on Wed & Sat. Good dive shop and restaurants in akumal. Definitely want to have a car if you're staying at the Seven Sea's Condo to travel around to the sites. Driving was no problem. We did pruchase the Mexican auto insurance ($40/day plus the rental fee $161/wk, expensive but worth the peace of mind). We felt perfectly safe in this area of Mexico.

“great location” the Office staff was courteous and welcomed me upon arrival, and showed me around. The room was clean and had a coffee maker and small refrigerator in addition to tv. Within a few steps of my door I was at the fresh water pool, a few more steps and I was on the most beautiful beach in the area! The hotel staff were attentive and friendly. The onsite restaurant was a great plus, allowing me to spend as much time on the beach or diving as I wanted, and not driving around finding restaurants. The food was fantastic! All in all, this was a great place to spend a week on the ocean, relaxing.

“Just what we're looking for...” My Boyfriend and I were looking for a small intimate place to stay for my Birthday. And we found it at The Villas DeRosa! We stayed in a 1bd beach front condo over looking the amazing ocean below. The service was amazing! The staff is friendly and helpful and the food was fantastic! We love akumal and wouldn't stay anywhere else. Don't let the dirt road off the highway that leads to the resort fool you..it truly is a diamond in the rough. We're looking forward to our next visit.

“You don't have to die to get to heaven” Before my stay at Casa del Perro Feliz, I had never been to the Yucatan peninsula and I found the listing for the house on the internet. As you know, there can be a big difference between the experience promised in the listing and your actual stay. Everything about my 10 days at this fabulous house far exceeded my expectations. The house is spacious and sweet. Maria and Ulises, the caretakers, are dedicated and gracious. The bay is a Caribbean dream. We were there for the Christmas and new year holidays and we almost never even saw our neighbors--which meant we had the whole bay to ourselves. The nearby town of Tulum was exciting and the food was great. There are many things to see in the peninsula but, for us, the most magnificent were the cenotes. Swim in as many of them as you can. There is one 5 minutes walk from the house, but our favorite was the Grand Cenote, a few minutes drive. This was a memorable and rewarding trip for me, my wife and our 3 children. I'm saving up so we can go back.
