“Peaceful place to live indeed!” I stayed in ataman Luxury Villas for a week and it was an excellent experience! There were no other people who could disturb my peaceful rest. I have never experienced such a peaceful beach in my life! However, there are always people to help if necessary. The Internet connection was an important thing for me and I was glad to know that there is a free wi-fi available throughout the whole territory. I was also surprised to find that Koh Kho Khao is not a boring place to be. There are many places to visit, such as famous Similan islands, which I really enjoyed going to.

“Relaxing with friends” We met up with friends who travelled from australia, with two villas on the property and a communal kitchen, eating area this made it perfect for us. Both Tom and Som had lots of local knowledge with Som arranging trips for us like riding the elephants. Som also with the help of a friend cooked for us all a couple of nights. This worked out cheaper than going out to a restaurant and the food was lovely. We would like to thank them both for making our stay so enjoyable and we all went down the zip wire.

“Magic sanctuary heaven on the Indian Ocean - true magic” Upol picked us up after 1am from the airport and a snooze in the car later we arrived at this magic place with waves virtually at our feet, a full moon and the grand Indian Ocean right in front of us. In awe we went asleep in the beautiful ocean front suite too excited to sleep and when we did - to the sound of the ocean - we slept beautifully every single night. We woke up to a paradise beach, a calm locals beach where we swam every day, met the locals and indulged in beautiful food cooked by the excellent team of Six Degrees North. Udith and his team looked after us like royalty and organised transfers, cooking classes, inside information as well as being wonderful company and enriching our horizons as we learned about the country. Udith - also a tour operator - devised a fabulous tour together with the wonderful owner Suzanne for us. I usually organise my own tours but this was insider information and once we had to leave this magic place, we were in for an amazing tour of the country far off the beaten track. Great food, great team, fabulous surroundings and simply a magic place. We can't wait to go back and thank Suzanne, Udith and of course Upol, our wonderful driver who became a friend as well as all the wonderful team at Six Degrees North. Thank you. Es-tutee! We come back soon.

“The Ultimate Island Escape” Villa M must be the most beautiful place for a relaxing holiday possible. Right on a beach, surrounded by palm trees, islands in the distance, and Fisherman Village shops and restaurants close by. It has the best location on Samui and 6 days there was the ultimate island escape. Each of the 5 bedrooms has its own bathroom, and with 2 living areas, we all had our space. The staff are all friendly and discreet and the villa manager can arrange for anything that you want to see or do. Continental Breakfast provided, including selection fresh tropical fruit. Each night we visited one of the many restaurants in Fisherman's Village, even ate at some of the stalls, all within easy walking distance of the villa But you can choose to stay in and eat your meals at home, which we did on the last night.The Chef prepared for us probably the best Thai food we have eaten anywhere in the world. It rained a couple of days, but we still managed to enjoy ourselves in this beautiful home reading, watching Dvd's, looking at the magnificent view. Relaxing is what holidays are about. Liked-everything about Villa M, especially the location. Disliked: that we were only there for 6 days !

“A perfect family getaway : Emerald Trail” We went to Emerald Trail, Jungalaigaon in June this year. It was one of the loveliest holidays for our entire family including our golden retriever, Zo :). Emerald Trail is probably one of the few places in India where pets are welcome at par with the humans! Emerald Trail is a perfect destination for those looking to get away from the urban madness – the tranquil environment is what we looked for and it fit the bill completely! Long walks, pleasant weather, unhurried and relaxed time was the hallmark of our trip. It was truly a home away from home with home-style food, simple, comfortable and clean rooms, cups of tea and snack when you ask. It was wonderful to see the earnestness amongst the staff (Lalit, Kailash and others) to make our stay pleasant and nice. Among the inhabitants of Emerald Trail, Rusi, the dog was our favourite. She was entertaining and pure fun. Our young daughter and Zo got along with Rusi like house on fire! It was a joy to see them roll, play and have endless amounts of fun. The cow, Bachchri, the hens and the fishes added to the farm touch – we personally love these and long to be in such surroundings. The word Homestay in Emerald Trail is perfect because for us it felt we were at home amidst the hills in some fabulous weather and were totally chilled out!! Sumith – you have done an fabulous job and we look forward to going back to Emerald Trail soon!
