“The perfect place to explore Tuscany” Louise and Franco's very spacious apartment on the first floor of their on home was just the place my wife and I were looking for on our first trip to Italy since our focus was on renting a car and exploring the countryside and ancient Tuscan villages. Sansepolcro's location is ideal for that, as it sits just and hour's drive from more sites than you could visit in a year, much less the five wonderful days in april that we had. The apartment is ideally situated to allow you to comfortably walk anywhere in the village of Sansepolcro itself, which is full of shops, restaurants and historic sites that are well worth the time to investigate. Make sure you have plenty of room on your camera card! The well equipped kitchen is a big plus if you're inclined to visit the local supermarket and put together a home cooked meal. If possible plan your trip to coincide with one of the local fairs that take place in Sansepolcro as they are not to be missed! Louise and Franco were very helpful and accommodating with anything and everything we needed during our stay. For us their perfect English was a plus as our "Pimsler Italian" Cd's did not get us very far! The best thing about our trip was there's lots of Tuscany left to see, so if we ever get the chance to go back we know exactly where we'll be staying!!
