“Great get away for a few days” The location could not have been better. The view was terrific and the beach, pool, and tennis were steps away. It's a bit of a hassle to unload your belongs onto a golf cart and then get it to the property (especially when traveling with small children), but it's nice not having cars on the property. We ate at the restaurant 2 nights and both experiences were very good. Wish the store/ice cream shop was open later than 6 PM. Overall a relaxing time with family.

“Nice place for a vacation” I stayed here for four days so that I could see some Red Sox games. The place was very clean and neat, with a kitchen that had everything you need to cook. Juan was very helpful and had lots of suggestions. I really enjoyed my stay! There was plenty of room and it was a nice get-away.

“A wonderful place to spend a vacation!” We had a great time at Villa Alamea! The home is beautiful and has every amenity imaginable. “Great Escape.....” We took another couple as a surprise and a thank you for what they have done for us in the past and what a joy to see them smiling when we pulled up to the ferry, and then down the road with all the beautiful homes, then I told them we had to park the car and get a golf cart for the rest of the stay..very impressive, fun and what a beautiful place it was....will be back someday....check the weather as we got rain both nites but we managed to get to the restaurant between showers....fun

“Short commings” The area aroundhe rsturant on the sides were ccoverd with trash looked disgusting. The golf carts are really a joke. The yare dirty, filthy broken down. Never been washed asdn ther are almsot no plugs under the villa to use.for peopelewith my disabilities it was very hard to walk to the bea c hdn climb the stairs up to our villa. this is not your fault

“Confused Staff” All of the staff were very nice during our stay and during the reservation process, but the information we received about events, activities and accommodations were often conflicting. The staff did not seem to know the deals being offered or what was going on. Overall, a wonderful stay!

“Outstanding place for a great vacation!” I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The home was decorated beautifully and very conducive to a relaxing vacation. All the amenities of home. We could either relax by the pool overlooking the canal, or a quick drive to the beach, great restaurants and shopping. The welcome note and bottle of wine was a very classy touch. “Perfect” Even the weather was perfect. I found at Palm Island what I did not know still existed in "overpopulated" Florida, Thanks to the PalmBeachPost for featuring Palm Island Resort. A vacation spot - almost deserted island w amenities - The beautiful beach -just steps from the very comfortable condo overlooking the calm ocean-so peaceful and relaxing - perfect! The staff, very friendly and helpful. I got away from hectic every day life. I rested, enjoyed and did n o t h i n g. What a great feeling - perfect vacation for me.

“Nice home away from home” Great place to rest and relax. Easy access to getting around, pool was great, plenty of things to take to the beach available. Used the grill, stove and oven to cook and all worked well. Much of the directions were in German, so we had to dig out the owners manual to figure out how to run everything. I would definitely stay here again.

“Fabulous Nature Experience” Our stay at Palm Island Resort was by far one of the very best vacations we have evr taken. The natural experience of the island was just what we needed! The opportunity to watch the gopher turtles wattle about and the shore birds, was awesome! We kayacked atonepoint and that was beautiful! The people we encountered that worked at the resort was wonderful! They were super helpful and kept the atmosphere just as fabulous! We left with a reservation for October already booked!

“Beautiful Getaway!” My husband, mother, and I stayed at Palm Island last month and it was absolutely beautiful. The beaches weren't crowded and it was very quiet, relaxing, and secluded. My only complaint is that having to take the car ferry to the island is kind of a pain. You always have to be worried about getting back in time to get back on the Island or you might be locked out! The worst part was that we were supposed to stay 5 nights, but when we went to checkout the night before our flight left, we were told we had to arrange with the ferry service to pick us up in time to catch our flight. This was going to cost $150! We ended up having to pack up quickly the night before and get a hotel room that was half the price of the ferry the next morning. It was sad to have to leave early and pay for a hotel room when we paid for 5 nights at Palm Island. Overall, though, a very relaxing, beautiful stay that I would be thrilled to take my family to again.

“Great vacation spot!” Great vacation location. Friendly and helpful service staff. Great food at resturant on island. Helpful with luggage. Only issue was we arrived and our room wasn't ready. Had to wait an hour for staff to finish cleaning. There was a huge wedding that week that checked out so staff was overwhelmed. They comped us free beach towels for inconvienence. Other than that, there were no other issues at all. Had a great time and would recommend to anyone wanting to get away and enjoy a secluded island with exceptional service and beautiful wildlife.
