“Quality gite, tranquil setting, friendly owners.” Very welcoming.The owners Will and Karen live onsite and are extremely helpful with local information, recommending restaurants, directions etc. Beautifully converted barn with all amenities you could wish for. Comfortable beds, quality bedlinen and towels. Swimming pool was very nice but not heated-a little cold in October although the weather was beautiful and warm. Excellent location,very peaceful, but not far from lots of little towns and pictuesque villages. Very well maintained gite and spotlessly clean.

“A most enjoyable, relaxing holiday” Following a really warm welcome from Isabelle and Thiery we enjoyed our holiday in their accommodation. The house was very welcoming with everything we needed to relax. There was plenty of space both inside and outside to loose yourself in the peace and tranquility of the house. The farm animals were great neighbours and frequently shared our conversations! The farmhouse was in an excellent position, close enough to the nearest town, Eymet, to get provisions, eat out and generally watch life go by, but also far enough away to realise that we were holidaying in the countryside. Everything was in easy reach, including the airport at Bergerac for flights to the UK. The part of the holiday we remember most of all was the great feeling of relaxation we found staying with Isabelle and Thiery. They are very warm people and we look forward to visiting them again very soon.

“Comfortable, homely and well placed.” The chalet had just finished building work so we were the first in! It is spacious, comfortable and a great place to relax after a hard days skiing. We have always stayed in Chatel, so abondance was merely a place we passed on the road. What a mistake. We grew to love abondance and even skied the local small pistes up the road. The chalet has been adorned with all the mod cons and the beds were especially comfy. The kitchen had everything we needed for our two families to eat well. The chalet is well situated, quietly laying back off the main square, but near enough for a quick walk to the local bars, restaurants and post office. All in all, a nice modern, relaxed place in a great location.

“Great house and greta town” I really enjoyed our stay at your house. The house is in a wonderful part of the town, so close to everything. I could park my car just near the front of the house then walk to a bakery and a restaurant of our choice, how good are the restaurants in the town. The house was so comfortable but the best part for me anyway was the courtyard and terrace. For my wife she couldn't stop raving about the new kitchen and bathroom. Congratulations on the house and we have already planned to stay there within the next year.

“A DELIGHTFUL SETTING FOR AN EXTRAORDINARY EXPERIENCE” We found this beautifully maintained house, modern but in the French style, quiet yet perfectly situated for travel though South West France. We visited Carcasonne,Toulouse, Narbonne, Andorra, the Western Riviera, even Barcelona Spain, easily by car from there in a day, finding the Limoux house a delight to return to and relax in after sightseeing. Accomodation for families, or up to four couples, makes the house very affordable, yet it has the feeling of a very intimate and special place. Its small but private grounds, plus the scenery and many fine restaurants in Limoux itself, make it an ideal place for a holiday: one we intend to repeat just as soon as we can.
