“Stunning view, spacious luxurious villa.” We stayed at villa Leana in Jan 2015 with a large group. The villa is awesome with stunning view from dining and living room making the stay very memorable. Each bedroom is massive, the bathroom is so spacious and the beds are so comfortable. The pool is a bit small for us as we had 11-12 people all swimming at the same time but we had fun regardless. There's no shallow part for kids unfortunately. But my kids all brought swimming floaties so it's fine. But the view from the pool made up for the size as it was absolutely stunning from up there. Relaxing on the lazy beach chair was great! The hosts are so friendly and they all speak English well. They welcomed us in the middle of the night and send us off at dawn with a smile. They were always very willing to do whatever we asked. The bedroom gets cleaned daily. There's fresh pool towel whenever we come home in the evening and we never got any complaint about the noise we made while swimming at midnight. Breakfast is typical Aussie breakfast but they're well prepared including toasts bacon eggs sausages fruits and cereals. We ordered fried rice for breakfast and A few of us had a small lunch at the villa consisting of satay rice gado2 and fried chicken and the food were delicious and only costs us a fraction of the shop's pricing. Distance from the main road is not too far as well. We stayed in the same area not long ago but it was further and more isolated. So for the view we get, the villa distance is fairly good. On the way to the villa there are plenty of nice street food (martabak, satay, etc) and restaurants worth visiting such as Fat Chow and the 'martabak' pop up shop outside Warung satay club. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would highly recommend villa Leana.

“Fantastic stay in a tropical paradise” We stayed at Villa Elleo over the Easter long weekend and we could not have been happier with our choice. To begin with Ketut was extremely helpful in helping us arrange our stay with timely responses to emails and even helping us arrange dinner on our first night as our plan was arriving late. The villa looked exactly like the photos and was extremely comfortable. The house staff were by far what made it an enjoyable experience, they were so friendly and helpful, organising massages in the villa, preparing breakfasts and fresh coconuts. We also thoroughly enjoyed Nyoman card tricks. With the night security Made we always felt safe and he even helped arrange late night take out for us. The villa has a perfect location, tucked away so it's nice and quiet but only a few minutes walk from the main area of Seminyak, with plenty of markets, and restaurants to choose from. Overall everyone was extrely happy with our decision to stay at Villa Elleo, and we would not hesitate to both recommend or re-book the villa for our next stay. “Best Spot in Ubud... Maybe even Bali!” We loved Villa Via (and Villa Jepun and Hibiscus). Yes we stayed in all three villas on four separate stays in 6 weeks of travel in Bali. We travelled all over the island and continued to return to the beauty, calm, cleanliness and privacy of the villa's at Devi's Place. Villa Via was our favourite of all three. The beautiful clean kitchen allowed to do much of our cooking on our own, and when we didn't feel like it, the lovely staff coordinated food delivery for us. We also had the option to order from Murdi, part of the Devi's Place team who made amazing home cooked Indonesian food, and some delicious western dishes too. The staff go above and beyond, always friendly, available and very helpful. We loved the views of the rice fields and our early morning walks. We were on a working holiday and appreciated the reliable internet (hard to find on the island). For $5/day you can grab a motorbike that they have available for guests and go explore Ubud. The proximity to Intuitive Flow Yoga, Yellow Flower Cafe, Sari Organik and alchemy were great. We loved the short walk to Cantika Zest for the best spa treatments of anywhere in Ubud, and also treated ourselves to massages in the villa too. We left three other properties ahead of schedule to return to Devi's Place. It truly is a gem, incredible value for the experience and comfort. It was clean, no air fresheners (which are everywhere in most villas), great water pressure, beautiful and private salt-water pool, comfortable sitting area and stocked with Dvds. This place was absolutely perfect!

“Villa Padi - Bali” Coordination with the owner was spot on and very prompt, process from reservation to payment was worry free and very clear. Pictures were representative of the place - though some touch ups cosmetically is needed in some areas. Staff was very helpful, Kadek and team on site were superb and catered to our requests, the pick up at the airport was hassle free and having Nyoman as a driver was a definite plus during our trip. Overall the place was more than we expected, it was very spacious, nicely done and very relaxing and comfortable - I even chose to spend more time at the villa instead of running around to see sights, location meant we had to drive to the beach for surf but not a hassle with driver Nyoman, dawn patrols were the best and Nyoman never missed a scheduled pick up. The crew at Old Mans were great to deal with though the spot gets pretty crowded it was our "go to" break for this trip. Overall great value for the money at Villa Padi, great owner, staff and though bit off the beaten track it was exactly what we wanted - a place with a bit of peace and quiet. We had friends come over to join us for dinner and all of them were amazed with the Villa.

“Great Experience!” Great experience, place and staff! Would definatley stay again. The room was clean and grounds were beautiful. We rented a scooter to get into town, which was a few minutes away. Nice and quiet and felt very safe! Staff were very helpful and were always available to help us if needed.

“A relaxing authentic Balinese experience” Sumara House is an absolutely delightful authentic villa surrounded by beautiful gardens. If you like space and privacy this villa is ideal. It is also very conveniently located within close proximity to restaurants, spas and galleries and the staff are fantastic. Central Ubud is either a 20 minute walk or a $5.00 taxi ride.

“Beauty, peace, service beyond” We stayed in Jepun Cottage for a week prior to our son's wedding in Australia. It was a perfect combination of serene setting, proximity to activities, food and spas, the exotic beauty of Bali and gracious hospitality. Ketut and Janny advised and arranged day trips including a challenging, whole day tramp through rice fields and forests, directed us to the best places for food and entertainment and chatted with us about the history and society of Bali. Their service was needed even more after we left. When I arrived in Australia I discovered I had lost some jewelry which had been my mom's. While not valuable in dollar terms, it is precious to me. Janny responded to my emails with negative results from her searches of our cottage and I returned home resigned to the loss of this family treasure. Lo and behold, as they say, some two months later I received another email from Janny celebrating the finding of my black jewel case. Janny, not satisfied that she had exhausted the search, had gotten a ladder and a flashlight and found it pressed up against the back of our in-cottage safe which was rather high up in an armoire. She went to some trouble with customs, etc. to have it couriered to me here in Canada. This personal interest in the well-being of guests will be yours to experience if you have the good fortune to stay at Devi's Place. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

“First Rate...Excellent Staff, We'll be Back...Highyly Recomnended” We stayed at Villa Kaira Estate for a week in late May. Stunning large beachfront location and the photos on the website don't do it justice to be honest. Wayan the chef was sensational and was sensitive to a couple of guests who were fussy eaters, all his food was delicious. Definitely do the seafood bbq. Rest of the staff were super friendly and helpful and special mention to the driver Ketut who drove us everywhere and was very knowledgeable. He booked various restaurants and activities for our group too so it was all made super easy. We made use of the Canggu Club membership with the excellent water park and bounce trampoline park, our kids of various ages loved it! The booking process was efficient and easy, Craig was very helpful in installing some extra beds for the younger kids who all wanted to be in the same bedroom. All in all, a fantastic stay and we plan to return same time next year, we all can't wait. Thank you!

“The ultimate relaxing holiday!” We had an amazing 6 days at Sungai Gold. Everything about this Villa is perfect...the staff, the food, the service provided, the beds & the peaceful location. I can not recommend it highly enough & it is suitable for older couples, young families, honeymooners & groups. I can not fault anything about Sungai Gold & look forward to our next holiday there!
