“Escape from reality” My husband and I both have high-pressure jobs. We were looking for an escape from the grind. We found it at Water's Edge. As we entered the gate of this quaint island paradise reality melted away. The main living area is open and comfortable. The bedrooms are spacious. But I can't say that we spent much time in the house... The view from the back patio is breathtaking. The doors open to a beautiful outdoor living space which overlooks the Caribbean. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner outside! The days were lazy, filled with much needed R&R.; We read books, napped in the hammock, and simply enjoyed the sun and the seascape. The home has direct access to the water, and the pool is perfect for that quick dip to cool off. Although we were looking for a quiet getaway, nightlife was not far away. We found it easy to get over to Paradise Island for some dinner and gambling at atlantis. We enjoyed our trip so much we returned with our daughter the following year. She enjoyed it as much as we did. We've got a new baby at home, but are looking forward to getting back to Water's Edge soon.

“A great and fun place to stay” The house is spectacular. Very very well stocked and the manager Al made sure we had everything we needed and even came out a couple of times to quickly address any concerns we had. Very very close access to the beach and dock. Garage well stocked with water toys, chairs, fishing rods, etc. Everything you need. Abundant toiletries, towels, games and entertainment made for a very comfortable stay. Gift basket was a nice touch. Super easy checkout! We will definitely look to rent from again if we ever come back to the area, which we hope to do someday. Thanks!

“A wonderful place to be!” Our rental was right on the pool/beach. It was perfect! Gorgeous pool and the beach - beautiful, private - everything you could want. The cottages were spacious, clean and kitschy. They had everything you needed. You could tell good people stayed there as everything was well kept and stocked. The owner, Liz, was lovely and even though we had no pets, every pup there was well behaved and everyone was respectful of the rules. The people staying at the other cottages were wonderful and had stayed there before. Obviously Liz knows what she’s doing . My parents also stayed with us and both of them loved the place. The beds were very comfortable which doesn’t always happen in rentals. Hoping to see you next year! Cheers!

“My best trip ever!” What a wonderful trip, what a beautiful place: loving people, beautiful beaches, amazing house, food couldn't be better. Doctor Julio, our host, treat us like family. “Great Family Vacation (Super Close to the Beach)” 9 of us stayed at this wonderful house the week of 6/22/13. 6 adults and 3 children. The place is exactly what is presented in the online materials and pictures. The beach and ocean are so close. Very convenient for families with older folks or kids if you need to run back and forth to the house and don't want to drag a ton of stuff down with you. We enjoyed the pool a great deal as well, actually used it more than I thought. It is right off the Kitchen so the kids could play and we were really close by. The inside of the house is very nice and accomodated our party just fine. Master bedroom is amazing. Tv's in every room and the beds were very comfortable. The owner/property manager were very helpfull and resposive to our requests/inquiries. House is close to everything. Lot's of shopping and activities close by if you need them. We were just fine laying in the pull, playing tennis or having fun at the beach so we didn't do much other than that. I would highly recommend this place for couples or families. We had an outstanding time.

“Wonderful Vacation Home” Very well kept home. Clean, up to date and excellent service from owner. We heard a rattling sound in the ac unit and saw a small leak from ice maker made a phone call to the property manager and they came out repaired them that afternoon. It is evident that this home is cared for. Very nice beach towels, chairs, umbrellas and beach toys. The home has automatic shutters, which makes the bedroom nice and dark for a great sleep! The furniture in the home is up to date and well kept. The beach is just steps away from the home, and the sunrises are amazing. We were overjoyed to happen to witness turtles that were just hatched return to the ocean. We will certainly return for another vacation!

“Very Clean and awesome!!!” The ocean was very close and the sand was awesome! The things we really enjoyed were the really nice beach chairs provided. The outside grill was large enough to easily grill enough food for 14 people at one time. All items in kitchen were great and we had everything we needed. The washer and dryer were awesome and worked very well The furniture in the house was clean and comfortable for all of us. The house was really clean when we arrived and that impressed us all. Space wise the house could easily handle 16 except for maybe the lack of a third shower. Overall we really liked this place and would recommend it to anyone.

“What a great getaway location to relax and view the secluded private beach and gorgeous ocean view!!!” We stayed in the Lobster Shack which is a cozy clean bungalow which offered a salt water pool with an awesome view of the Gulf waters. Liz is great making sure our needs were met while addressing unexpected refrigerator problems. She is quick to reply contacting a repairman to resolve the issue. Canines are welcome. I miss the relaxation and calmness of the setting yet on Gulf Blvd there are activities to meet everyone's interests. Thank you Liz and love your puppies.❤

“Beautiful home in lovely setting.” This home had all the amenities to make our family comfortable. We loved sitting on the patio in the morning watching hummingbirds and listening to howler monkeys in the distance. The extensive DVD collection was a hit with our kids during some of our down time. The location near the town of Nuevo arenal was nice for short trips to the grocery store and many restaurants.
