“The location and the accomodations fit our needs and desires per” This loft is in the perfect location for tourists visiting Buenos aires. Palermo Soho is a wonderful neighborhood, with loads of great restaurants and bars within walking distance of the loft. There are 2 bedrooms (and 1 "office" with a futon) and 2 full bathrooms in the loft, easily accomodating my wife and me, plus our 2 adult (ages 23 and 27) sons. The air conditioning cools off the loft quickly and easily (we were there in the middle of their Summer). The neighborhood feels safe for strolling, even very late in the evening. The nearest subway ("subte") stop, Scalabrini Ortiz, is a short walk away, and plenty of cabs can be hailed nearby for trips to other neighborhoods. Also, the Zoo and the Botanical garden are within walking distance also.

“Look no further - Best Place to Stay in Mendoza” Visited for three days in august 2013 with my family. We stayed in some terrific places (including five star hotels), but without a doubt, this was the highlight of our trip lodgings. The home was amazingly well appointed; Julio has thought of every single detail (and then some more beyond that). Very comfortable, close to just about everything. Beautiful, safe and Julio is a terrific landlord. Reserve this house now; there is no better place to stay in Mendoza. A bargain at twice the price.

About Argentina

Exclusive Studio located in the Heart of the City
We very much enjoyed our stay in Studio 409.

This apartment is in a nice old building, which I prefer to a characterless modern place. Because the building is so solid, and the apartment opens onto an inner courtyard, it is VERY quiet. It's also in an excellent location, near the Plaza de Mayo and the Casa Rosada, the San Telmo outdoor market, the Florida "mall", and there are a number of nice restaurants nearby. It's also near many subway stops, so you can get pretty much anywhere in the city from there. The apartment is well equipped in appliances which all worked well. There was an adequate supply of dishes, silverware, and pots--I like to cook The bed was great. I lugged a foam bed pad down, since I'm very sensitive, but didn't use it. The couch and upholstered chair were really comfy, too. It was a comfortable spot to come "home" to, after a long day of walking all over. One of the great assets of this apartment is the Ana, the landlady. She took the time to explain everything and left a sheet with important information, such as phone numbers for taxis. Since we were there for two weeks, she made sure we had enough sheets and towels. She emailed me more than once during our stay to make sure we were okay. This was a HUGE contrast to my brother and sister-in-law's landlady, who just handed them the key and wasn't heard from again. There were some negatives about the apartment. The windows were covered so that light came in but no direct light, and when they were open, there was no view. The shower was basically a single pouring stream of water, not a spray. There were no dish towels and no small sharp knife, but I had brought my own, thanks to a traveler's tip. The neighborhood seemed a bit iffy after dark, although we had no trouble at all. The drawbacks of staying there were small compared with the good things. We had a lovely stay. … see more

Clean, good-sized apartment

The apartment was very clean upon arrival and cleaning service is included approximstely twice a week. The kitchen provides what's needed for basic from-scratch meals, refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, a few pots & pans, dishware and glasses. Large bed, large bathroom. OK smart TV. It's a 10-15 minute walk to the main street and also to the bus station. Nearby restaurants (5 min walk) are very good and there's a kiosko and a wine store at the same distance. Although Fernando only speaks very basic English and we speak very little Spanish, we communicated well. He also provides a bilingual information book. We had only one small issue during our 2 week stay and he had workmen at the apartment in less than 15 minutes! I recommend staying at the apartment. … see more
Beautiful apartment in the heart of Mendoza city
Great location, wonderful hostess

This clean and comfortable apartment was our favorite of 6 we rented in South America. It is just a couple of blocks to Aristides street with all it's restaurants and a couple of blocks to a Parque San Martin. From here we walked through much of the central area of Mendoza. The tram and busses are also nearby. The owner is a delight. She greated us warmly and went out of her way to ensure we had information about the Harvest Festival which occurred during our stay. The apartment is on the 2nd floor. It is very safe with a separate locked doorway out to the street. classy & petit for opera & tango lovers
Perfect!

Mili's apartment is very spacious including a good sized living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. The library and supply of good English books was a welcome surprise. The wireless connection was fast and reliable. The air conditioning unit is in the living room while an overhead fan in the bedroom kept us cool at night. Located on the 6th floor of an older building, it was everything we had wanted and more. When we arrived, we were greeted by Rosario who showed us how every thing worked. Rosario speaks excellent English if needed. Because the apartment is centrally located, my wife and I walked wherever we needed to go. Florida and Laval, two main walking streets are nearby. We walked to the bus station with our wheelies in 20 minutes. Plaza de Mayo was a 10 minute walk away while we reached la Boca in 45 minutes. … see more
