“Escape from reality” My husband and I both have high-pressure jobs. We were looking for an escape from the grind. We found it at Water's Edge. As we entered the gate of this quaint island paradise reality melted away. The main living area is open and comfortable. The bedrooms are spacious. But I can't say that we spent much time in the house... The view from the back patio is breathtaking. The doors open to a beautiful outdoor living space which overlooks the Caribbean. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner outside! The days were lazy, filled with much needed R&R.; We read books, napped in the hammock, and simply enjoyed the sun and the seascape. The home has direct access to the water, and the pool is perfect for that quick dip to cool off. Although we were looking for a quiet getaway, nightlife was not far away. We found it easy to get over to Paradise Island for some dinner and gambling at atlantis. We enjoyed our trip so much we returned with our daughter the following year. She enjoyed it as much as we did. We've got a new baby at home, but are looking forward to getting back to Water's Edge soon.

“Great Stay” The house was a better option than hotel rooms. The house was very clean and they had everything necessary for a pleasant stay. They also provided pool towels for the pool or jacuzzi. The jacuzzi was nice and hot and a good option in the evening. Each bedroom had a TV and they had a pool table in the garage. It's a quiet neighborhood. It's not far from Disney or Walmart for groceries.

“Beautiful and Comfortable Vacation Home” We loved every minute of our stay at this house. It was very clean and comfortable with up to date, modern amenities, furniture and fixtures. It was perfect for our 10 day vacation to Disney and Universal and so much better than staying at a hotel as we were able to buy and cook our own food, swim in the private pool, and enjoy separate bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone in our party (4 people). It was heavenly to come home to this house after a long, hot, exhausting day at the parks. There are plenty stores and restaurants within 2 miles of the neighborhood. A word of caution: this house is actually in Clermont and it was a bit further from Orlando, and the Disney and Universal resorts than we thought (about 50 min. from the airport, 40 from Universal, 30 from Disney - mostly due to traffic and construction, actual mileage is not far) but still not a bad drive. Overall, we were very pleased with our choice. It was a great value and well worth every penny!

“A great and fun place to stay” The house is spectacular. Very very well stocked and the manager Al made sure we had everything we needed and even came out a couple of times to quickly address any concerns we had. Very very close access to the beach and dock. Garage well stocked with water toys, chairs, fishing rods, etc. Everything you need. Abundant toiletries, towels, games and entertainment made for a very comfortable stay. Gift basket was a nice touch. Super easy checkout! We will definitely look to rent from again if we ever come back to the area, which we hope to do someday. Thanks!

“Can't wait to come back!” This house was huge and it was stocked with everything you could need. From pool floats, to a grill, to beach chairs and umbrellas, to bicycles, you won't be bored! Bob and Elayne were excellent, giving tips on what to do and where to go and great communicators. The pool was fantastic and the dock was perfect for my husband to fish from. We can't wait to go back!

“A Little Piece of Paradise” Five friends enjoyed the idyllic surroundings of Gingerland Hill to celebrate a wedding. We could not have picked a better spot! The home is gorgeous - spacious, well appointed and comfortable. No worries here about picking a spot off the internet!! The owners were instantly responsive to our questions and came by daily to check the property and clean the pool. The location was beautiful - but you certainly need a car to get around and hit the beach. The only thing I didn't like was having to pack up and leave at the end of the week!

“Supervisor” It was really nice. We stayed for three nights and we enjoyed it. It was close to the parks, to publix, restaurants, and gas stations. Only one negative was that there were no phone signal.

“A wonderful place to be!” Our rental was right on the pool/beach. It was perfect! Gorgeous pool and the beach - beautiful, private - everything you could want. The cottages were spacious, clean and kitschy. They had everything you needed. You could tell good people stayed there as everything was well kept and stocked. The owner, Liz, was lovely and even though we had no pets, every pup there was well behaved and everyone was respectful of the rules. The people staying at the other cottages were wonderful and had stayed there before. Obviously Liz knows what she’s doing . My parents also stayed with us and both of them loved the place. The beds were very comfortable which doesn’t always happen in rentals. Hoping to see you next year! Cheers!

“My best trip ever!” What a wonderful trip, what a beautiful place: loving people, beautiful beaches, amazing house, food couldn't be better. Doctor Julio, our host, treat us like family. “A Magical Stay” What's not to love about this home! First and foremost Brandie herself is a genuine person who really cares about the people who stay at her home. From the initial contact of a personal phone call, to her follow ups on every little question, to her wishing us a safe trip to a thank you and welcome home at the end, Brandie is truly a great family person! The home itself was as described in other reviews and more. The location to the clubhouse could not have been better. A short walk down the path (100yds maybe) and the kids were relaxing by the lagoon pool! The added security of a gated community provided additional piece of mind even though you are only 5mins from Disney. The staff at the community became like family before we left. Friendly, cheerful, always willing to stop and talk about anything and everything! The home itself is exactly as pictured! Clean and comfortable made for it enjoyable to return home for afternoon breaks from the park. The Disney bedroom was the room of choice for our youngest! The downstairs bedroom provided a nice separation for our oldest to have her space when exhaustion took over:). We have rented homes before when traveling to Disney and Brandie's is at the top of the list! From location, ease of access, amenities, cleanliness, comfort and exceptional (what I will call) customer service and value, you won't find a better place to stay or person to work with then Brandie and her home!!! We will definitely be back again!!! Thanks Brandie :)

“I love this place!” Fantastic vacation home! Great lagoon view from the pool! Close to Sanibel Island as well as shopping for gifts and groceries. Very close to the river by boat, big plus for me! Had a great time here and hope to stay over and over.

“Great Family Vacation (Super Close to the Beach)” 9 of us stayed at this wonderful house the week of 6/22/13. 6 adults and 3 children. The place is exactly what is presented in the online materials and pictures. The beach and ocean are so close. Very convenient for families with older folks or kids if you need to run back and forth to the house and don't want to drag a ton of stuff down with you. We enjoyed the pool a great deal as well, actually used it more than I thought. It is right off the Kitchen so the kids could play and we were really close by. The inside of the house is very nice and accomodated our party just fine. Master bedroom is amazing. Tv's in every room and the beds were very comfortable. The owner/property manager were very helpfull and resposive to our requests/inquiries. House is close to everything. Lot's of shopping and activities close by if you need them. We were just fine laying in the pull, playing tennis or having fun at the beach so we didn't do much other than that. I would highly recommend this place for couples or families. We had an outstanding time.
