“Calming, casual, convenient...” I stayed at Thorn Park in the City recently during the adelaide Festival and it was the perfect place to be... walking-distance close to the city and Festival highlights but also it's tucked in a quiet area with a great array of interesting restaurants, cafes, shops and a lovely park etc within even closer walking distance...That said it's also perfectly set up to just relax at home...we used the dining area and back deck a lot for calming late breakfasts...and to plan what we'd see and do next. It's compact but the feel is quietly stylish... very relaxing with interesting original artwork, muted colour scheme, comfortable furniture and a great little kitchen.
