“Fantastic Home, Fantastic area!!!” It was hard to leave our week at Sun and Strands and we can't wait to go back! The home is lovely, the views are fantastic, and the area has a great feel. But renting from Vida was the start of a great experience! She is the most wonderful host. She takes great pride in her beach house and sincerely wants people to have a great time and enjoy their vacation. The accommodations are as described: upscale and well put together. Everything we needed was there, from appliances to beach chairs. Everything was easy. The views (especially the sunsets) are spectacular. There is an easy walk to the main drag to grab a meal or coffee. The beach was a little further to walk to, but the funicular helps if you need it and once down there, it is one of the nicest beaches I've ever been to -- and I've been to many. The harbor is just a few minutes away and the drive to Disney wasn't bad either. We expected to have a great time, it was a vacation. But we didn't expect to fall in love with the area and visit a place to which we cannot wait to return. Thank you, Vida! We'll surely see you soon!

“Relax in Style” If relaxation is your goal--this is the place! Private spacious courtyard outside, warmly decorated, cozy comfort and all needed amenities inside. Our stay was short, but sweet! “Wonderful family home” My family and I came from UK, having to do post production work, for several months in la, and walked into a house with, not only everything we needed right there, but stunning decor, a feeling of warmth, light and familiarity, that made us feel as if we belonged. It was home! The front outside garden, is breathtaking, but secure as front patio is enclosed. We have 2 young children, who played happily and constantly in it, as well as a lovely backyard and deck. We had film clients over for Bbq's, and generally made this wonderful place our own very quickly, for those months. The home is located near absolutely everything, including walking to Whole Foods, or to my favorite restaurant, on Wilshire. Many, many visits the Beach, the marvelous children's playgrounds and parks nearby, made this an incredible place to work (wifi, internet), and relax and indulge in the good Santa Monica life, in this spectacular home we found. So reluctant to leave, but we know where we belong, when we need to return. We miss it!

“Best beach vacation ever! Location,location location” I just returned from a week in this house on Newport Beach. I the grandma, two adult kids and 4 grand kids ages 5 -12. This house was perfect for us. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, the two bathrooms were great. Best of all was the location. We could be sitting in the living room,or on the front patio, or cooking dinner and we could watch the kids playing in the sand. The family surfed everyday, and there is a great break directly in front of the house. The little ones boogie boarded every day also. Of course it didn't hurt that we had beautiful weather everyday. We liked not having to bring linens and towels. We knew ahead of time to bring our own beach equipment and towels. Owner was attentive. All around awesome! And did I mention location?

“Perfect Location in Lovely Laguna Beach” Beautifully appointed accommodations in the perfect location in Laguna Beach. We walked to restaurants, shops and galleries, not to mention the gorgeous beach down the stairs a few feet from our front door. There are 3 houses on this property. We didn't have our own private outdoor area or balcony, which we would have liked, but we did become friends with the 3 couples staying in the house next to us. One of the best things about vacations is connecting with other people. And the great thing about Laguna is that you can do a lot...or nothing at all, except to enjoy the scenery and the sounds of the ocean. Booking this property, checking in and Denise's follow up were all easy, seamless and thorough. We had a wonderful week and enjoyed every minute.

“Amazing!” My family stayed at this house for a week in July. It was great! The house was in a good location, less than a 10 min walk to the beautiful beach. Restaurants and coffee shops were in easy walking distance. The house was very well equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked with coffee, tea, and spices. The TV and entertainment unit were amazing, very high tech but easy to use. There was a cute front yard and a nice little back yard with patio furniture and a BBQ. There were bikes to use as well. The owner was amazing! Very easy to get in contact with and very hospitable. He even provided us with a playpen for our son. If we are ever in Long Beach again we would definitely stay here.
