“Bang for buck! Perfect for all your la needs!” Location: Central, quiet, safe with premium shopping and dining options right at your fingertips!! Absolutely perfect if you have a car, central and easily accessible to the wonders of Los angeles! If you don't have a car, local transport is just as accessible. Cleanliness: faultless really. Neat and tidy but very cosy, little personal touches from Cassia makes you feel right at home! Communication/Service: Although I didn't have the pleasure to meet Cassia myself, we were warmly welcomed by John in her absence who was friendly and lovely to deal with. Cassia is proactive to meet any of your needs to make your stay just that little bit more special! Great local knowledge and very flexible to meet all our needs! The free wifi and parking was an added luxury. Would recommend to all! Thank you again for making our trip so memorable!

The Villa Sophia - Romantic Honeymoon Spa Retreat on Central Los Angeles Hilltop

Los Angeles villa

1 bedroom / 1 bathroom / sleeps 2

“looking forward to going back” My partner and I booked this stay at Villa Sophia as part of our Ca experience. Living a crazy busy life in asia wanted somewhere to totally relax, Villa Sophia did that and more. The whole experience was perfect, we ended up cancelling many trips just to stay all day by the pool. The pool and Poolhouse are perfect place to hide away, you could be on and Italian Island for la seems a million miles away. It was worth travelling to the other side of the world just to experience this unique location and feel so special. Tim the host is always a moment away but never intrusive you feel totally alone and Sophia the dog is a delight visiting for her biscuits.Sorry about Scruffy Tim our hearts are with you on that one. We will be back very soon. Thanks a million R

UNIVERSAL STUDIOS CLOSE-UP ***** RATING (31 nights min. $ 4147/m utilities paid)

Los Angeles house

2 bedrooms / 3 bathrooms / sleeps 6

“Great Price and Location!” I stayed at this place because my son was graduating at the Universal Sheraton. This was literally about 7 minutes away. We had 6 family members stay and for us to stay at the Sheraton it would have cost over 500 a night for two rooms. This way we all could be together. Great communication from the owners. It was a very easy check in and check out process. Very clean and stylish. I would definitely stay here again when I am in town. I received my refundable security deposit when I was supposed to. Everything about this went smooth, but most importantly it is super close to Universal Studios.

“A great place” Our family really enjoyed our stay. The owner anita was a great hostess. What i liked best was the proximity of the owner she was always available if we needed anything. Beautiful Spanish Home, views downtown, Echo Park

Los Angeles house

3 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms / sleeps 6

“Lovely home in the hills of Echo Park” Martineke was a wonderful and very attentive host. She was easy to get in touch with throughout our stay in case we needed anything. Originally we were a group of 5 but one week prior to our arrival it changed to 6 - Martineke was great and accommodated all of us with ease. The property is stunning and in a great location - it really made our week in Los angeles extra special. Highly recommended. Would absolutely stay again.

Sunny, Spacious, Private Apartment in Silver Lake

Los Angeles apartment

1 bedroom / 1 bathroom / sleeps 5

“Fantastic apartment with great hosts” This apartment was exactly what I needed for a week stay in LA...the hosts have thought of everything. I had great contact with Martineke and Larry before and during my stay. There is easy access to the highways to reach local attractions. I was worried about traffic noise but it was not a huge issue for me. The apartment was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. I have stayed in many vacation rentals throughout the world and this was definitely one of the best!

Anaheim Area Disneyland Heated Pool Home

Anaheim house

“Aussie family holiday” Our family of 10 stayed in Bobby's house in October 2012 and we absolutely loved it. The location was fantastic, the ease of check in was great, Bobby made 100% sure our stay was comfortable. The air con worked perfectly for our stay. The kids absolutely loved the garage for its abundant supply of kids toys, and the pool area was fantastic, it was so relaxing to sit back and relax while the kids played in the pool. Only negatives for me were, no kettle, no toaster and a musty odour in the garage, but that didn't really bother us... Would highly recommend to others!!! In fact we will return again...

Enchanting Retreat Near Beach with Private Patio, Backyard Garden & Free Bikes!

Santa Monica cottage

1 bedroom / 1 bathroom / sleeps 3

“Perfect location!” We stayed at this lovely bachelor apartment for five days and found it an ideal proximity to Venice Beach and Santa Monica. We were able to easily catch public transportation to and from lax as well as to Hollywood and Universal Studios. Our favorite part of the vacation was the availability of bikes that came with the apt. We loved biking to both Venice and Santa Monica along the fantastic boardwalk taking in all the sights, shopping and the beach. The apt is quiet, clean and close to albetrson's and Costco as well as restaurants. With the bikes everything was easily accessible. James is very personable and will answer all inquiries promptly.

SAFE ESCAPE AMONGST STARS IN A HOLLYWOOD HILLS PARADISE

West Hollywood house

2 bedrooms / 1 bathroom / sleeps 5

“An oasis in the big city” A city like Los angeles offers a lot, but can also be stressful. To have a place where you can retreat after a busy day is even more important. Simply escape the hustle and bustle. In this beautiful apartment we have found just that. For our group of five it was the best accommodation during our road trip through the Western U.S.. So if you are looking for an apartment with a central location (Universal Studios are just 5 minutes by car, Walk of fame maybe 10), this is the place. In addition, it is quiet and in a very safe area. The decor is personal, warm colors and comfortable. Beds, kitchen, TV, bath, outdoor area - everything was great. Frances is very helpful and gave us a wonderful start in the City of angels. We would love to have stayed longer. Every time again!

Hollywood-Mid-Wilshire-Beverly Apt at CBS-TV City, The Grove, Farmers Market

Los Angeles house

1 bedroom / 1 bathroom / sleeps 2

“Felt like home” Me and my friend stayed for 2 and half weeks, and we just had the best time in LA, and the apartment helpt especially. we felt safe and very comfy. We come from Holland, and had never been to California before. The host helped us before we came there and during our stay with a lot of information. The apartment has everything you can wish for on vacation. Nice bed, good couch, tv with every channel you can think of, little terrace and a good kitchen with all sorts of appliences and a really nice bathroom. Also its really close to all kinds of restaurants ( italian restaurant marco's. 5 min drive) and shops, but especially close to the grove and farmers market which is a really nice place to eat (try the cheesecake factory! Ask for a terrace seat, its so nice outside) or to go shopping. It also has a really pretty and big cinema.

Hollywood Hills: Location, location, location.

Los Angeles house

2 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms / sleeps 4

“Found gold in the Hollywood Hills” Dear Tanya et al, Thank you for making our stay a positively memorable experience! From the minute we arrived you made sure we felt welcome and at home. Over the next three nights, this group’s stay was one that will be forever etched in each of our memories. Your beautiful home made our three nights and days the backdrop to our adventures in Los Angeles. During our three days, we celebrated a birthday , dressed up for the Emmys, lounged in the chaises in the quaint backyard, prepared meals and dined over candlelight each night, all while overlooking the city. We really relaxed and took in the beauty of the city. If that wasn’t enough, the final touch is how you and your partner helped one of the members of this group of four remain calm when she realized she’d left the passports behind and was now over 300 miles away. Your professional reassuring promptness in your responses, and the manner in which you went out of your way to ensure that our passports were waiting for us at our final destination, is something that should be noted as going above and beyond. We would like to send you a special thank you not only from the absent-minded one but from the group as a whole! Your response ensured this group enjoyed their latter part of their vacation in California. As for the house if you’re looking for a beautiful, tastefully decorated, airy and charming home in the Hollywood Hills, look no further. The Moorish accents and the way Tanya has set it up so all the amenities and then some are at your reach. The picturesque views from this home offer vibrant blooming bougainvillea trees outside the windows and a stunning view of LA. Look no further this is a gem nestled in the Hills. Signed the Canadians, Cristina, Benicio, Maria et Benicio.

Secluded Yet Convenient Apartment in Toluca Lake

Burbank apartment

1 bedroom / 1 bathroom / sleeps 2

“Quiet oasis after a long day” I stayed here with my 16 year old daughter to celebrate her birthday and attend the Ellen Show. Marc welcomed us and gave us a short tour of the property. He had even gotten her a piece of cake with a candle, which was a very thoughtful gesture. The property was within walking distance of the studio and there were a lot of conveniences within a 10 minute drive of the property. I really enjoyed that it was on a quiet cul-de-sac since being out and about in LA is so hectic with traffic and people everywhere. It was also within a 20-30 minute drive to all of the places we wanted to visit, which is considered close in the LA area. It was also very refreshing to come back to a comfy apartment with a jetted tub after a long day of sightseeing. Also, another thing I noticed was that the gas prices were at least 40 cents cheaper than some of the more touristy areas. We would definitely rent again and recommend this property to anyone!

About Pasadena

Located in the inland heart of Los Angeles county, but also within easy reach of the ocean and downtown Los Angles, Pasadena offers a perfect vacation escape. This area appeals to a diverse variety of interests. Pasadena museums and art galleries showcase the very best of a thriving southern California arts community, and the rugged natural beauty of Pasadena's semi-arid landscape seems to be lifted directly from a John Steinbeck novel. There are plenty of fun things to do here for the whole family, and the best way to experience all that Pasadena has to offer is by staying in a private vacation rental during your trip.

Vacation rentals here are widely available and usually less expensive than hotels. Wake up in the morning and look out over the California hills from the balcony of your private luxury vacation home. Then head into town and explore Pasadena's lively artistic culture. Take a picnic lunch to any of the state or local parks in the area. Go shopping, play golf, or see a show. After the sun goes down, experience Pasadena's unique, energetic nightlife and world-class Southwestern cuisine.

Here are a few additional suggestions for your trip:

  • Visit the Norton Simon Museum: Throughout his life in the mid 20th century, Norton Simon acquired an extraordinary collection of European masterpieces which are now on display here and at the Pasadena Art Museum.
  • Take a Melting Pot food tasting tour of Old Pasadena: This is a fantastic way to experience the culinary hidden gems in and around the charming historic part of the city center.
  • Visit the Kidspace Children's Museum: This is one of several fun, interactive Pasadena museums offering a wide variety of exhibits focusing on the natural sciences.
  • Take a tour of the Gamble House: This historic house showcases a perfect example of Arts and Crafts architecture. The house is now owned by the University of Southern California.
  • See a show: See a sporting event at the Rose Bowl Stadium or a professional theatre or dance performance at the Gold Class Theatre.
  • Visit the Eaton Canyon Natural Area: Hike or bike the miles of trails through this scenic preserved wilderness area.

Thousands of visitors come every year for family reunions, weekend getaways, honeymoons, or wedding venues in Pasadena. If you are among them, make a luxury vacation condo part of your plans. The perfect rental apartment can be a great place to relax in style after a long day of fun activities. While you're visiting Pasadena, spend some time exploring nearby locations like Los Angeles or Pacific Beach.
