Description
This comfortable and spacious detached family holiday home is on a private site with large gardens. It is a well equipped bungalow, with open fire and wood burner.
It is close to local amenities, a 5mins drive from Buncrana. Buncrana itself is a seaside town with lovely restaurants and bars. There is a children’s play area at the shore front next to the beach. There are many seaside walks and also Swans Park river side walk.
It is a great base for exploring the Wild Atlantic Coast of Donegal and a few mins drive to local beautiful beaches. There are 2 links golf courses in Buncrana, one 9 hole and the Northwest 18 hole. There is also the famous Ballyliffin 23km away. The historical Fort Dunee is a short drive away, worth a visit for the scenery and lovely walks. Derry City is close by with its historic walls and Peace Bridge over the river Foyle. The Giants Causeway is about 90mins drive and also the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge plus Bushmills Distillery.

“Ard An Dun”
We spent a few days at the house and I must say it was beautiful. We felt really comfortable and the location is so handy to the town and alot of the sightseeing we went to visit. We will definitely book this house again. The owner Mary is very helpful and understanding. The welcome pack we received was very thoughtful and much needed after a long journey. I would highly recommend booking this house.
