“Great time!” What an incredible home, and I mean home. It felt like you walked into your own home, comfortable, great kitchen for the family feast, with a dining room table that all 10 of us could enjoy! Weather could of been better but hot tub was a treat! Absolutely a great place to stay...manager where super helpful! Do it!!

“The Lily Pad Exceeded Our Expectations!” One word: wow. My family & I were incredibly excited to stay at The Lily Pad after looking at the lovely photos of the property online. But wow, when we arrived it was even better than it looked in the pictures. I've never stayed at a property that is as thoroughly maintained as this place. Clean from wall to wall, with every ammenity you could possibly want & need. Great family vacation home!! This will be a staple home away from home from now for myself & my family. “Comfort and space in a fantastic location” This was my first visit to this part of California and my first renting in the us over the internet. I spent some time researching, so I had a good idea of what to expect. However the service I got from VR from making the initial reservation to my arrival and the actual facilities, equipment and location of the condo itself far exceeding my expectations. I'd normally spend a few days stocking up with all those things you have in your home but are never there in a vacation rental - I didn't have to buy anything but groceries and replace what we'd used. Absolutely everything you need for a family vacation can be found somewhere in the condo. Moonlight Beach is a stunning location and having direct beach access is a real luxury and the views are stunning. I have so many great memories from surfing with dolphins & pelicans to seeing my first "red tide" and the sunsets from the balcony are just fabulous. On a practical note, it's very quiet and private but only a short stroll from all of the faclilities available in Main Street, Encinitas. I'm going back just as soon as I can!

“Imperial Beach Condo” If I can break this condo on a 1 to 10 scale at 20 I would. Sue Kennedy was so easy to work with. When we first got to the condo, also we have to do is punch in the number she gave us and we were in! Then once in the condo I was in awe at how beautiful it was!!Once I opened up the patio doors p( (there were two patios in this condo!!), I couldn’t believe that all I had to do was walk about 10 feet and I was on the beach!!) Oh, I forgot to mention that anything you would need is there at the condo for you (eg paper towels, toilet paper, body boards, chairs, extra blankets and pillows etc. ) The condo is about a half a mile from the imperial Beach pier, which is great because you can walk to it and also your quiet enough in the evening. I highly recommend this condo for anyone who is interested in being right on the beach, having local restaurants nearby, and having a quiet evening watching the sunset.

“perfect” We had an amazing time and hope to return back one day. It was a great place for our family of 5. Enought private space, seperate showers, great eating area and perfect location in town. We were close in walking distance to resturant and driving distance to a grociery store. The Smiths are great people to work with and very friendly to have as neighbors ;). My son still talks about the house and the deer. Thank you for making great memories for my family!

“Great RRV Getaway -- Quiet & Remote, yet Conveniently Located to” We rented this updated house for Thanksgiving.We were a party of 6: grandparents,adult children & 2 grandchildren.We stayed in the downstairs, and the kids and grandkids stayed in the upstairs 2 BR with one large bathroom (with jacuzzi tub, shower stall & sauna) and a separate 1/2 bath.The house itself has one large living & kitchen area, with an eating bar,upstairs,with a second living area and kitchenette downstairs, which has an additional exterior door). We did not realize that the upstairs & downstairs aren't connected "inside"-you have to use the outside stairs to go from one area to the other. It's not a big deal and it provided a bit of separation from the noise and commotion of the kiddos.Overall,the house updated: updates in the kitchen,bathrooms,downstairs,central heat, Wifi,etc.Yet very comfortable and quaint with electric fireplaces (no wood burning),views of the redwoods from every window & large outdoor decks.The decks wrap around the house and provide privacy if you choose to use the hot tub or sit outside and enjoy the porch views of the trees & the RR. With latching gates at the top of the stairs, it was safe for the 3 yr old.The kitchen is a bit tight,but it is fully equipped with a nice frig,new gas range,new dishwasher.We cooked a full Thanksgiving dinner(always a challenge in someone else's kitchen),there were plenty of dishes,utensils,service wear, pots,pans,etc.The upstairs:full bath and half bath are adjacent to the living area.The upstairs beds are very comfy,with nice furniture and finishing.The sheets and towels are all very new and fluffy.The primary bathroom is huge, with a large Jacuzzi and the separate shower.The bathroom has a zen vibe-very relaxing.The half-bath is convenient with a crowd.We walked down the steps to the river,enjoyed the scenic fall views of the RR.Fun!The owner was delightful to work with & gave us plenty of info,good directions.Very helpful!

“one of the best vacations ever!!!” I stayed at this beach house over memorial weekend. This house was the perfect beach house with an amazing location and view. The house was very well equipped and we felt very comfortable staying there. it was a great weekend for my family and the kids had the best time playing in the ocean most of the day. Amber was very responsive to anything we needed and she made us feel very at home. I would highly recommend this house and I do plan on going back someday!
