Description

In the wonderful Luccan landscape where the most splendid historical residences were built in the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries, this ancient hunting lodge has been superbly restored.

This marvelous location is perfect for a holiday immersed in natural beauty, which is enhanced and accompanied by the sounds of the rustling of the leaves and birdsong.

In an intelligent blend of ancient and modern Villa Delizia is furnished with Tuscan antiques while boasting centralized air-conditioning and satellite TV.

Up to sixteen guests can be accommodated in the lodge which has been tastefully arranged, maintaining its rustic yet refined atmosphere.

Villa Delizia is surrounded by 2.500 acres of greenery, olive groves, pomegranate and citrus trees; oleanders, hibiscus and petunias bloom in the illuminated garden.

From the two verandas, an ideal setting for summer wining and dining, stairs wind down between flower beds to a fully equipped and illuminated swimming pool situated on a terrace that is sun-blessed from dawn to dusk.

Set in the foothills in the village of Segromigno, 8 km east of Lucca (Puccini’s birthplace medieval town), this large country house is surrounded by 2500 acres of vineyards, providing a marvelous view of Pisan Hills in the distance.

The 2 pleasant and well furnished living room areas are in communication with the dining area. They are both equipped with satellite TV, DVD player, desk with telephone, PC with internet connection and printer and have direct access to the garden.

Both kitchens are fully equipped with stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, American coffee machine, kettle, toaster and a wide assortment of tools.

Kitchen linen: towels, tablecloths, dish towels are provided.

2 ancient fireplaces complete the decor.

The rooms are large and airy and overlook the surrounding landscape rich in vineyards and olive groves.

All the rooms have heating and air conditioning which can be regulated individually in each room, mosquito net, satellite TV and a practical towel kit, embroidered with our logo, including a soft towelling robe, small and large towels, shower towels, swimming pool towels, and terry towel.

A hairdryer is provided in every bathroom as well a toilette set (olive oil hair, hand and body wash), toothbrush and toothpaste, shower cup.
