L'Orée de la Cité is a beautiful property, with a lot of trees. Well located, close to La Cité de Carcassonne (5 minutes walk) and close to the town center and the "Canal du Midi" (15 minutes walk).
It has been recently renovated in order to welcome you in big accommodations.

Entirely renovated in 2013/2014, theses accommodations remain authentic with definitely both modern decoration and comfort.

You will arrive in a former tile built in the eighteenth century, formerly called
"The tile Charlemagne" because the land is home to a top source thirteenth called
"Fountain of Charlemagne."
Over the years, the property has changed names several times (Enclos St Francis and St Francis villa).
Now renamed the "closed the city", the property has three houses with garden and offers free secure parking inside the property.
From the garden you can see the towers of the city of Carcassonne and be in first line to watch the magnificent fireworks of July 14th.
The property is ideally located at the foot of the ramparts of the castle (5 min walk) and close to the heart of the lower town (10 min walk).
