Chez Dyna is a charming old maison de Maitre in the centre of the ancient village of Alaigne. It has been lovingly restored by present owners Lin & Geoff and is an ideal relaxing location to base your exploration of the Cathar region of the Languedoc. Chez Dyna is less than half an hour to both the magical city of Carcassonne, the esoterical Bugerach mountain and the spiritual hilltop village of Rennes-le-Chateau, site of many Holy Grail excavations.
Chez Dyna offers a refurbished very pretty adjoining gite (cottage) for sellf catering weekly holiday rental.
We aim to offer guests a friendly, stress free stay with the optional possibility if required to blend self contained self catering gite accommodation with b & b in order to maximise flexibility during your stay. We are also flexible about your preferred day of arrival and departure.

The village of Alaigne is in the form of an ancient “circulade” and nestles in the vineyards called Malepère – the largest wine growing area in France.
The village boasts a bakery and post office, primary school and a friendly bar - restaurant is only 3km. away in a larger village with supermarket, bank, doctor, dentist and pizza bar.
Just 15 mins; away can be found the famous restaurant of domain de Gayda whilst in the other direction, the small city of Limoux boasts a large selection of shopping, bars & restaurants and is home to the famous Blanquette de Limoux – the forerunner of Champagne !
Guests at Chez Dyna can choose to dine with us from time to time in the evening if they wish and they have full use of our quiet garden for eating and drinking or simply to relax and listen to the chorus of local birds.
We offer private off road private parking (and a garage if required - subject to availability and extra cost) - free high speed internet Wi-Fi, many books, clean air and a cosy relaxing environment.
