Description
The "residence" of charm of Francisco and Tahira Cardinal, beautifully restored, is 500 mt. in a green old town and was so named because it was once used as a residence.
Vaiano, located, during the Roman period, on one of the most important roads that led to Rome, is easily accessible from exit of Orvieto and Attigliano of A1 Roma-Firenze.
The first floor of the residence is fully available for guests and is equipped with three large double bedrooms, two luxurious bathrooms, a living room with TV and fireplace, and spacious kitchen, also with fireplace where breakfast is served based on natural products of the place. The decor, which is mostly from ancient local rustic furniture is complemented by precious fabrics and curtains, made from the same owner.
The Bed and Breakfast & besides the advantage of low prices, allows a direct and familiar relationship with owners, encouraging even the custom organization cultural, gastronomic and natural.
A unique location for geographic location, climate and vegetation, a short distance from the Spa complexes and art cities, helps to promote relaxation and physical recovery and mind, while still allowing day trips, natural and artistic, in unknown Etruscan northern Lazio, Umbria and Tuscany.
Rome (easily reachable even with comfortable trains, at discounted rates, including capital and urban transportation), Siena, Todi, Perugia, Assisi, Spoleto, Tarquinia (with its Etruscan Museum), Viterbo (the city of the Popes) and Orvieto (with an impressive and important Romanesque Cathedral and the famous "Pozzo di s. Patrizio"), can be visited on day trips.
The thermal baths of Viterbo, Saturnia and Chianciano are 30/50 minutes, while nearby you can visit places less known, but equally interesting, as Montefiascone with the splendid lake of Bolsena, the Parco dei Mostri di Bomarzo, 1500, Civita di Bagnoregio, charming city that dies located in the natural park of Valle dei Calanchi and the natural oasis of Alviano, on the Tiber, managed by the WWF.
Francis and Maria Cristina will also suggest where equestrian sports, horse-riding or mountain-biking, fishing, and where to buy the best local products, as well as provide the programmes of various events, such as the "Umbria Jazz" and "la Città del Gusto" of Orvieto, antiques and crafts Exhibitions Arezzo, Todi, Viterbo etc..
