“Absolutely amazing!” We had a truly relaxing and incredibly enjoyable stay at Strathisla. The room was lovely, the food fantastic, the views phenomenal, and our hosts (Priya and Jaykumar) delightful. We really enjoyed the walk that Jaykumar took us on through the tea plantation. Not only was the scenery magnificent but we also had a great time meeting locals along the way. It was a lovely way to get to see a different but very real side of Sri Lanka. Priya's food was heaven - the only problem was that no other food tasted as good. Many many thanks to our fantastic hosts. I'd definitely recommend this place to others.

“Great experience” + Villa is conveniently located with just a few minutes drive to the Nuwareliya town + It is well maintained with clean bathrooms and had many facilities such as hot water, room heating and fireplace + Two bedrooms, living room and dining room had beautiful view of the tea gardens and mountains + Breakfast was tasty and we were surprised as arabic bread was served + Villa had latest technology with excellent high speed Wi-Fi, HD TV channels and movie library with the latest 3D and Bluray movies + Caretaker provided excellent service, always with a smile" - Everything was perfect, except th were no arab channels on TV

“Home in the Hills” More than once I have returned to The Kandy House and I am already planning my 4th stay in 2014. Nimal is a welcoming face to meet upon arrival and the view is lovely to come home to. I highly recommend The Kandy House.
