Description
This apartment with its high ceilings has been lovingly restored. We have kept the mood of the old building, with hand-made window frames (local craftsman, who also sells great honey!).
The open plan contemporary style living room with tiled floor has a large comfy L-shaped sofa, so you can relax in comfort with French windows opening onto the garden. The well-equipped kitchen/dining area opens onto the living space with plenty of room to cook on its rose granite work surface.
Both bedrooms: the double with en suite bathroom and the twin bed with en suite shower room are a cool off-white with full length curtains and wood floors.
Air conditioning heats or cools the living area and in the bedrooms electric heaters do the trick in winter or standing electric fans if summer gets too hot. The garden with beautiful 10' (3m) high stone walls is well planted and provided with sunbeds and has a shady dining area.

The walled garden (sole use) is well planted with an olive tree, roses, jasmin, honeysuckle, plumbago, peonies, irises, etc. and is provided with sun loungers and deck chairs. On the shady terraced area there is a wooden dining table with 6 chairs and with a Webber barbecue.

“Lovely flat in lovely little town”
We have been coming to Ceret since 2006 and have always stayed in this flat or the one on the first floor. For us it is a "home from home" and we can guarantee that new visitors will feel the same. It is very well equipped and presented, including the charming garden, which is unusual in the old town.

“A great family holiday home”
Having stayed in this wonderful ground floor flat in Ceret before, this year we decided to rent it for a whole month. Plus we also rented the 1st floor flat for two of those weeks so that we could invite friends/family to join us. And we rented the ground floor studio room for one week, so we had a 5th bedroom. Thus enabling a great holiday for us and all with our own space but coming together for meals etc, most of which were enjoyed in the gorgeous garden - the barbecue was great. We had our 9 month son with us and were happy with the travel cot, high chair and baby bath. And our 3 year old daughter was delighted to find a paddling pool to splash about in! We have already booked our stay for next year -alas, not for a month - and look forward to Ceret next summer.
