Description

Set in 6 acres of beautiful French countryside, our peaceful gite with all amenities is the ideal base to explore the surrounding areas or fish in our own private spring fed 2 acre lake. The lake contains carp up to 30lb, roach, perch and sunfish. There is an enclosed childrens play area with swings, slides, badminton net and rackets. There is also an above ground circular swimming pool. We are in a quiet and peaceful village, yet only 10 minutes to the town of Chabanais with all amenities.

There is lots to do and see including, river canoeing, golfing, leisure lakes, amusement parks, chateaus and lots of photographic opportunities.

The ground floor has a large open plan kitchen/diner and there is a separate lounge. The 1st floor has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with 3 singles, one of which is a trundle, and a bathroom with shower/bath & wc. There is a small enclosed garden with patio furniture but you have full use of the grounds and woodland where you will see red squirrels, various birds and even deer. The owners property is on site.

“Even better than expected”

We booked for 3 days with our 2 young children, and we discovered a very lovely house perfectly integrated in the local nature. I’m he house stay fresh during the day, the children stood swinging while we prepared the meel : up to you to eat on one of the picnic area you find all around in the property. We found every thing we needed at all time, and we enjoyed the welcome pack we found at our arrival ! We have to admit that we didn’t live the place during the 3 days we stood, and would have enjoyed to stay a little longer- we will come back if we have the opportunity! Thank you for your warm welcome !

How do damage deposits work?

If Dean (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
