Description from owner

Description

"A hidden gem in the midst of the Charente" We are confident you will not be disappointed with all we have here at Maison du Ruisseau. Quality, style and a welcome to make you feel special. A romantic place for couples, safe for families and truly stress free. Set in the heart of the Cognac Region, the Maison du Ruisseau is a stone built Charentaise Farmhouse. Surrounded by the peaceful hamlet of Chadeuil it's a place where you feel time has stood still for the last 2 centuries. Sheltered within a pretty walled garden, it's "a real get away from it all" location. The owners have lovingly restored the house and its dependancies, maintaining many of the character features and adding an elegance all of their own. From these buildings they have created 3 individual, private and beautifully appointed gites, each fully equipped to the highest modern standards. They are available to rent as one complete property or separately. Each gite has its own individual style and secluded terrace, but all share the garden, courtyard swimming pool and orchard. Come and discover Maison du Ruisseau, where you will experience the warmest of welcomes, excellent hospitality, the elegance of the past and the highest quality accommodation in the heart of this beautiful area of France. We await your arrival it will be our pleasure.

Further details

Our gites are fully central heated and are strictly non-smoking. The pool is open from May to October. The pool is not heated and is shared between the three properties. It is fitted with a safety alarm in accordance with French law.

The swimming pool is 9 x 5 mts complete with security alarm. The property provides patio tables and chairs for all the gites, they are located on the terrace and in the garden to ensure sun all day and early evening, it's ideal for eating breakfast, lunch and dinner outside. Sun loungers and umbrellas are also provided for the garden and the pool area. Each of the gites are equipped with a barbecue and tools for 'al fresco' dining
