Set on a tranquil hillside overlooking the Salt Lake you'll be amazed by this location. The view and setting is truly magnificent. This property is walking distance to Clifden, approx 10 min. There is free WIFI available. The 2 en-suite double bedrooms have panoramic windows and you'll find yourself plotting your day ahead while taking in the amazing views each morning. The 3rd bedroom is a double with a mountain view which has the main bathroom and a guest toilet adjacent to it. The spacious modern kitchen with a dining table and island opens onto a south facing patio with spectacular views. The comfortable sitting room with an open fireplace is the perfect place to relax after your day out. There is also an outdoor dining area to seat six people with beautiful panoramic views. This property is along The Wild Atlantic Way.

“Salt lake view, Clifden”
I rented this property for two weeks and was joined by different members of my family. Everyone thought the house fabulous with stunning views. It is truly a short walk into Clifden yet because of its situation and outlook you know you are in rugged Connemara. While the photos of the property are amazing they do not fully capture the essence of the house. The views from the windows overlooking the salt lake continually change with weather and light and most of the rooms have this aspect. The house is also perfectly placed to explore Connemara. The owners Laura and Kevin were very welcoming and helpful with information of the area places to visit, dine etc. I would highly recommend staying there.

“cosy in clifden”
We rented Laura's house in August this year with my 6 and 4 year old. The weather was particularly dreadful, unusually for that time of year, and the house was a welcome retreat from the wind and rain. It was spacious, warm, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. It was a short walk to the centre of Clifden and a short walk to the start of the greenway which is absolutely beautiful. The views from the house were spectacular and it was lovely to be so close to town yet feel like you were far away from it. The location also allowed us explore beaches Ballyconnelly and Roundstone as well as Cleggan and Claddaghduff the kids felt right at home and having Netflix helped on the very wet days. we would definitely rent it again and would recommend it without hesitation. perfect location and very well kept.
