This house celebrates and embraces the wonderful diversity of this great country. We welcome with arms stretched wide, our brothers and sisters of all races,creeds and sexual orientation. Together we will not build walls but a magnificent future for our children and future generations.

It’s important that you check the Rules section in the platform. We are a fully vaccinated against COVID-19 household and we are accepting guests which have been vaccinated as well. We take COVID-19 very seriously and in view of the latest developments we have decide ed to take this measure for everybody’s safety. We thank you for your understanding. Please confirm your vaccination status.

The room, one of two, in our old home turned Bed and Breakfast is delightful with large windows overlooking the garden.Full size vintage bed. Lots of light. There is a small sitting area by the window perfect for reading. DVD & music library for our guests' use. We offer a healthy daily breakfast included in the room charge.

The bedroom is in a 1926 house located in a lovely historic neighborhood. The location is fantastic! we are located across the marlins ballpark, tucked away in a small historic, peaceful neighborhood, with a beautiful green canopy and friendly neighbors. We are on the other side of the river of the health District, close to Wynwood, Brickell, Downtown, the Arts District and the Design District. We are 10 minutes drive time to South Beach, Key Biscayne and Little Havana . Access to 836 ,I95 and 395 is just a couple of blocks away making this location ideal for both work and play. Our Bed and Breakfast has two rooms ready for our guests.

We have fallen in love with hosting and it brings us great pleasure to be able to introduce this beautiful city to travelers from around the world. We will gladly make suggestions if asked, about food, places to go, the art and music scene and out of the beaten track places ( alas! fast disappearing). Our guests have access to the porch, living and dining room as well as to the kitchen for heating prepared food and of course the garden, outdoors dining table and deck.

HOUSE RULES: Reserving with us implicitly means you are in agreement with the below rules:

We have a deep love for our property and we hope our guests can appreciate the care we put into it. We appreciate our guests keeping it clean and organized. We do not allow smoking anywhere in the property and unfortunately we can't accept pets (but we love them :( )We have a cat that roams the property, sometimes with friends. He will not come into your cottage and will not bother you at all. We recycle religiously and will provide the necessary containers to separate the trash. We understand the world's need for water and we save water as much as we can. We provide fresh linens on a weekly basis on or demand as well as towels. We live in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood and we hope you understand that loud noise after 10PM weekdays is discouraged. If you are bringing visitors, kindly check with us in advance. No parties are allowed. We provide you with keys to the property.

We provide you with large towels for your beach day.

We ask you to keep us informed about your time of arrival as soon as possible and before the date of arrival so we can make arrangements to receive you. We request from our guests to provide us with a window of 1 to 1.5 hours of arrival time the day before arrival so we can plan appropriately for your welcome. If you are checking in after 9PM kindly check with us in advance to make sure it is possible.

We invite you to use our collection of movies ( in the basket) and our books and please return them once you are finished so all of our guests can enjoy them.

If you have to ship packages to our address, bear in mind that we will:

Take 1 or 2 small packages

The package must not require a signature

The package must be addressed to you and C/O (care of) Ines Cortes

We require you let us know you are sending a package and the approx date of delivery

Even though we will obviously do everything it takes to secure your package, we are free of all and any responsibility regarding the package(s) safety.

If you are coming for a surgical procedure please advise us beforehand. Please be aware the reservation might be canceled unless you let us know. If the reservation is approved you must come in with another person that will be responsible for your well being. Be aware that we might have to cancel the reservation if not clearly informed to us.

“The worst experience of my life”

Response from the owner On the third morning of a four day reservation I invited the guest to review the rules of our Bed and Breakfast and if he couldn't adhere to them I would gladly refund the 2 evenings left. I contacted Trip Advisor and made them aware of the situation and how we did not approve of our guest's friends sleeping in our porch, visisting our guest's room, or using all of our back up fresh laundered linens on the floor (?) . Our guest decided he wanted to leave and I proceeded to make a bank transfer- coincidentially the guest uses the same banking institution- and I immediately showed him the screen with the bank's confirmation number and took a snapshot and forwarded it to him. The guest needed to approve the transfer so the transfer could be finalized. According to our bank our guest delayed his acceptance of the operation and even though he had copy of the confirmation I believe he was busy and could not find the time to complete the transaction on time, thus postponing the transfer. As for the "felt I was being recorded", we do not use or ever used any kind of recording of any of our guests. First it is against the law and second we are totally not interested. As for "kind of creepy decorated house", our guests have total access to up to date photographs of our B&B. We are truly sorry we all had a difficult experience. We encourage our guests to read the descriptions, check the photographs and be aware that all properties have rules that must be respected and guests do sign off on them once they agree to the reservation.
