Ideal for large groups/ multiple families with children.Tournesol is a spacious, traditional 5 bedroom Charentaise farmhouse. 3 bedrooms on the ground floor & 2 upstairs in the loft "grenier". An additional self contained 1 bed Gite can be hired as part of your package (ideal for grandparents or in-laws). All rooms are capable of taking a double + single as a minimum.
Exclusive use of your own 10m alarmed pool, a new full size Cornilleau Table Tennis Table, 2 outdoor BBQs, solar shower an acre of garden space. A modern fully-fitted kitchen dining room, very large living room with CD,DVD and i-phone dock, small library , plenty of games plus 3 bathrooms with large showers and one with a roll top bath.
Bikes & Golf clubs are available for hire and the local terrain is ideal for novice and experienced cyclists, tracks directly from the house through the woods to the village.
Large pool terrace with recliners, huge outdoor dining table, two BBQs Terrace faces the setting sun with views across the pool towards woods and farmland where you can enjoy a glass of wine from the neighbouring vineyard
Located between St Andre de Lidon and Cozes, 2 minutes to the boulangerie & bar at St Andre , 5 minutes into the covered market at Cozes with Gemozac not much further with La Rochelle and Bordeaux accessible in an hour. Close to excellent restaurants & the safe estuary beaches or the neighbouring beaches of the Atlantic, plenty of excellent restaurants for eating out in Meschers or St George/Royan.
An ideal location for family holidays with children. The prices quoted are for the House + Gite . The gite can only be booked individually outside High season - please see 534781 for the Gite on its own.

“A perfect family holiday”
There is plenty of room and more to spare for our party of 14 with ages from 5 – 76 years. The house has a huge living room overlooking the pool, and with three bathrooms plus one en suite in the gite, there were no queues. Self catering was easy. We got all we needed in Cozes or St Andre De Lidon, either supermarket or local produce and the kitchen had everything you could possibly want although we used the outdoor barbecues most of the time. The location is typical rural Charentais and we enjoyed forest walks and cycling direct from the back garden which overlooked a field of sunflowers (the house supplied the bikes too so we didn’t need to bring any on the ferry!) For days out, there are plenty places of interest and a wide variety of things to do for everyone all within a short driving distance. We loved the pool and the outdoor table tennis which was perfect for spending days relaxing at home but also found a very safe sandy beach about 15 minutes drive. A perfect holiday. We will go again.
