A beautifully renovated detached barn, offering a spacious single storey 2 bedroom gite with open plan living space. Also with own private garden and barbecue.Situated in the large wooded grounds of la Bergerie, on the edge of the small village of Crazannes. It is only 15 minutes drive to the market town of Saintes, so shops and restaurants are within easy reach. All within the beautiful Charente Maritime region of South West France.This gite is located all on one level so it's ideal for young children. The private garden is located to the side of the gite and has seating for 4 so great for all that out-door living.There is a double room and a twin room and space for a cot if required.There is parking in-front of the the gite.The nearest town is Saintes which as well as offering many places to visit with its Roman Heritage, has all your shopping needs.This attractive, comfortable and very well equipped gite is ideal for family holidays with everything you would need for a young family. Or this peaceful setting is ideal for a quiet get away. Spend the day by the pool or relaxing in the garden. Or visit one of the many beaches most of which are just a 35 minute drive.Also perfectly located for those who wish to explore the area or to just relax and enjoy the weather! With beautiful sunny days throughout the year this makes it a perfect location for walking and cycling and enjoying the surrounding countryside and for visiting the many beautiful towns and villages.

“Charming gite in a magical setting”
On arrival received a warm welcome from our hosts, the gite was immaculately prepared, , with every accessory you would need. The property is located in an picturesque unspoilt village and situated in well maintained mature gardens, with access to a lovely pool and seating areas . Secure parking is provided on site. The uncongested roads provided easy access to La Rochelle and Angouleme. Will be back.
