This detached cottage is at the head of the Mawddach Estuary, 1.5 miles from Llanelltyd and 4 miles from Dolgellau and sleeps two people in one bedroom.Bryn Melyn Artist's Cottage is at the head of the Mawddach Estuary, 1.5 miles from Llanelltyd and 4 miles from Dolgellau and sleeps two people in one double bedroom. There is also a ground floor shower room, a kitchen and a sitting room with a dining area. Outside there is off road parking for one car and a raised patio area with furniture and a BBQ from where you can enjoy the views. There are some delightful walks from the cottage up to a lovely hillside lake providing marvelous hill and mountain views. Bryn Melyn Artist's Cottage is in a fantastic location and provides a great base for a couple.

Amenities: Electric wall-mounted heaters. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, 2 x TVs with Freeview, DVD, CD/radio. Electricity inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 1 car. Raised patio area with furniture and BBQ. Sorry, no smoking. Shops 4 miles, pub 10 mins walk. Note: The raised patio area is accessed via 11 wooden steps from the road to the side of the cottage. Note: Babes-in-arms only. Please note: This property only accepts Saturday check ins. Please note: This property has minimum stay of 3 nights.

Town: Set at the starting point of the sweeping Mawddach Estuary and caught between Snowdonias sea and mountain scenery, the small, peaceful village of Llanelltyd rests amongst climbing green hills, offering a perfectly peaceful holiday location for touring this vibrant area. The crumbling Cymer Abbey, a 12th century romantic ruin, and St Illtyds Church, thought to be one of the oldest in Wales, stand testament to the villages past.
