Description

This house has been newly renovated in keeping with the old French way. The stone has started to be stripped back to it's original glory and gives the house that amazing old charm feel. The house has three bedrooms with stunning views of the village and sounding area out of the main bedroom window, a pull out sofa bed for those unexpected guests, bathroom with toilet and shower, lounge, dining and full kitchen. Downstairs is the laundry with washer and dryer another toilet and full lock up garage.

You can enjoy a wine on the terrace overlooking the village and beyond, hot air balloons fly over in the late evening, which makes for a great photo.
The local Cenac markets are on a Tuesday morning and the market in Domme are on a Thursday - pick up some local produce and products direct from the farmers and business owners.

“Too noisy”

Reviewed 20 Aug 2015

Response from the owner Sorry to hear of the noise was so bad, we are taking measures to improve the sound proofing downstairs, by double glazing the door way where the sound gets in. If you close the shutters at night, it makes for more soundproofing and keeps the morning sun from coming in and heating the house to early. The insulation down stairs is being fixed in the next maintenance trip. The workers use the back road down from Domme in the late afternoon, the noise usually passes quickly. Again so sorry about the noise Regards Graeme & Lisa

“Transported to another time and place”

Reviewed 7 Sep 2014

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our time in this 14th century house, overlooking the quaint and beautiful village of Cenac. We truly felt transported to another time and place. The house was roomy, clean, and very comfortable. It had everything that we needed for our stay. The hosts were thoughtful in setting everything up for travelers. We would stay here again.
