Unique stone built bake-house conversion in the heart of the Irish countryside with lake views from the family-friendly mature riverside garden. Set in the county's Lakeland district it is close to both the Shannon River and the Shannon-Erne Waterway.

This unspoilt tranquil rural setting is ideal for somebody seeking to get away from it all and relax in the countryside. Fantastic views of the whole local area are just a hundred yards away on the adjacent hill. The property is next door to the village store & small traditional rural country pub and restaurant.

Getting around

There is a local link bus that travels to Carrick on shannon or Drumshanbo once per day from outside the premises. A car would generally be needed to get around and explore as this is a very rural area.

Interaction with guest

We endeavour to meet and greet all of our guests and to give them some advice on places to go and things to see and do while in our area. If you would like our help there is always someone on hand adjacent to the cottage. This is mostly ourselves, however, on occasion, it may be our staff, but rest assured we are all here to help make your stay as homely and pleasant an experience as possible

Great spot very accommodating hosts. Country Ireland. Visit to Miners Museum. Lots of local sights to see.

“Everything we needed”

Nice friendly owners next door...... they own and run the pub and shop! Perfect for three fellas going fishing. A bit dusty but otherwise clean enough.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
